摘要:
A fuel injection valve can be provided, with which temperature at needle valve seating position can be decreased and carburization of fuel and deposition of the carbide near the needle valve seating position can be prevented resulting in stable normal fuel injection control, and which is applicable to small and middle and also to large engines, particularly gas engines. The fuel injection valve is composed such that distance (A) from a seating face of the nozzle in the nozzle supporting body to a seating position of the needle valve in the nozzle is determined to be smaller than distance (B) from the nozzle seating face in the nozzle supporting body to the lower end of clearance between a nozzle insertion hole of the nozzle supporting body and a fitting part of the nozzle inserted into the nozzle insertion hole, thereby suppressing heat flow to the needle valve seating position.

The present invention takes as its objective to provide a fuel injection device, and a diesel engine equipped therewith, which can reduce the amount of NOx in the exhaust gas while maintaining the rate of fuel consumption satisfactory. This fuel injection device includes a pressure accumulator which accumulates fuel whose pressure has been elevated, a fuel injection valve which opens by the supply of the fuel from the pressure accumulator and injects the fuel, a supply conduit which supplies fuel from the pressure accumulator to the fuel injection valve, and two valve apparatuses which are connected in the supply conduit in parallel and each of which interrupts fuel supply to the fuel injection valve. And the fuel flow amount when one of the electromagnetic valves is open is set to be smaller than the fuel flow amount when the other electromagnetic valve is open; and, during fuel supply to the fuel injection valve, an electromagnetic valve opens first, and next an electromagnetic valve opens.

A fuel injection pump equipped with a rotary deflector having an increased lifetime and reduced maintenance cost required to replace the deflector when it is wasted due to cavitation erosion. The deflector comprises a stationary holder and a tip member which is supported rotatably by the stationary holder so that the tip member is rotated by fuel flow that outbursts from the plunger room through the inlet/spill port and impinges against the tip member when fuel injection ends. This evades concentrated impingement at a specific portion of the tip member and prevents the occurrence of cavitation erosion.

Fuel injection equipment is provided which realizes characteristics of fuel injection proper for all over the operation range of an engine, can further reduce nitrogen oxide(NOx) emission, and is high in mechanical durability. The fuel injection equipment for an internal combustion engine comprises an injection pump having a plunger part and a fuel passage equipped with a main electromagnetic valve, a fuel supply part for supplying the fuel to the fuel injection pump, a fuel injection pipe for sending the fuel to an injection nozzle part, and a secondary electromagnetic valve attached to an overflow pipe for returning to said fuel supply part the redundant fuel not to be injected from said unit injector, wherein an orifice is attached to said overflow pipe.

A fuel injector can reduce the smoke emissions generated during low load and decrease NOx during high load. The fuel injector comprises a first accumulator for accumulating a pressurized fuel, a second accumulator for accumulating a fuel having a higher pressure than the pressure of the fuel in the first accumulator, fuel injection valves to which the fuel from the first and second accumulators is supplied and thereby the fuel injection valves are opened, and the fuel is injected, fuel feeding pipes for feeding the fuel accumulated in the first and second accumulators to the fuel injection valves; a first valve mechanism which is provided at the fuel feeding pipe and which opens and allows the flow of the fuel in the first accumulator to the fuel injection valves, a second valve mechanism which is provided at the fuel feeding pipe and which opens and allows the flow of the fuel in the second accumulator to the fuel injection valves, and a control device for controlling the first and second valve mechanisms. The first accumulator and the first valve mechanism, and the second accumulator and the second valve mechanism, are provided in parallel to each other to the fuel feeding pipe. In a normal injection mode, the control device makes the first and second valve mechanisms open at the same time. In an injection rate control mode, the control device makes an open timing of the first valve mechanism earlier than an open timing in the normal injection mode.
