摘要: An inverter circuit is configured with a reduced number of components for driving a plurality of discharge tubes. Primary coils of a plurality of drive transformers are respectively connected in series to primary coils of corresponding balancer-transformers, and then connected between output terminals of a switching circuit in parallel. The secondary coils of the balancer-transformers are connected in series, and connected between the output terminals of the switching circuit to configure an inverter circuit for driving a plurality of discharge tubes. The inverter circuit includes a voltage detecting circuit for detecting a voltage at any of connecting-midpoint of the series-connected secondary coils of the balancer-transformers, and a voltage comparing circuit for comparing an output of the voltage detecting circuit with a reference voltage. A signal designates an abnormal operation at an output of the voltage comparing circuit when the voltage of the connecting-midpoint exceeds the reference voltage.

摘要: The present invention provides a load failure protection circuit and a discharge lamp driving apparatus, which can exactly detect a failure even if the failure arises in any of a plurality of discharge lamps, and can stop drive of the discharge lamp. A part of currents of corresponding CCFLs (201 and 202) flows into two bypass resistors (21a and 21b), further, a full current of the bypass resistors (21a and 21b) flows into a resistor for full current detection (22), and its voltage drop is inputted into a control IC (1) as a feedback signal. On the other hand, cathodes of Zener diodes (25a and 25b) are connected to end parts of the bypass resistors (21a and 21b) on each CCFL side. When potential of any one of the cathodes rises by a load failure, a corresponding one of the Zener diodes (25a and 25b) generates a Zener voltage for a transistor (26) to become conductive. Therefore, since a feedback signal line connected to the collector of the transistor (26) is made at the ground potential forcibly, it is decided to be a load failure by the control IC (1), and drive of the discharge lamp is stopped.

In a cowl structure for a vehicle which includes a front cowl for covering a front portion of a vehicle body, a radiator is positioned in front of the cylinder heads of the engine. A radiator cover is provided for covering the radiator ranging from side surfaces to a lower end of the radiator. Bulging portions are provided for bulging from a front portion to a rear portion of the radiator cover and being formed in a direction to be rearwardly and upwardly oblique in a side view of the vehicle. The bulging portions are formed on a lower end portion of the radiator cover.

摘要: This invention provides a cellular telephone with a digital camera that can store data on an image photographed by the digital camera in an internal memory without the need to use a separate service only for storing the image data when a residual capacity of the internal memory is insufficient and, therefore, without the need to make a management necessary to enjoy a separately set service so as to use the separate service. The cellular telephone with a digital camera includes a used memory capacity detecting unit that detects a used capacity of a memory that stores data, a file-attached email transmitting unit that transmits, as a file-attached to an email, the data to an arbitrary mail server with which a user already made a contract, and a unit that activates the file-attached email transmitting unit when the used capacity detected by the used memory capacity detecting unit reaches a predetermined capacity.
