    摘要: An information signal recording medium has a spiral track on which an information signal is recorded. The information signal includes picture element data which correspond to one field, and is time-sequentially recorded on the spiral track in terms of the picture element data which correspond to one field. The picture element data which correspond to one field are made up of a plurality of picture element data of a first field and a plurality of picture element data of a second field, among picture element data which are obtained by subjecting an analog video signal to a digital pulse modulation, where the analog video signal corresponds to one frame made up of the first and second fields. A reproducing apparatus is designed to reproduce the second field in a sequence different from a sequence with which the recorded picture element data are reproduced from the information recording medium in the first field.

    摘要: An improved memory utilization control system for compressed digital picture data transmission systems, comprises an input terminal coupled to the memory circuit having a capacity of one frame, an address signal generator generating an address signal which successively indicates write-in addresses in first and second memory regions each amounting to one field in the memory circuit when picture element data of frame-transmission to be reproduced in the first and second fields are applied to the input terminal, and for generating two address signals which respectively and successively indicate write-in addresses in the first and second memory regions when picture element data of field-transmission are applied to the input terminal, a write-in pulse generator generating write-in pulses for writing the picture element data into the memory circuit, and a read-out control circuit for reading out stored picture element data from the first memory region during reproduction of the first field, and for reading out stored picture element data from the second memory region during reproduction of the second field, so that a total capacity of the memory circuit required otherwise is reduced drastically.

    摘要: An original image signal is encoded into an image code signal of a predetermined format through an approximation process on colors. A first luminance component is derived from the image code signal. A second luminance component is derived from the original image signal. A difference between the first luminance component and the second luminance component is derived. The difference is converted into a luminance corrective signal. The image code signal and the luminance corrective signal are transmitted via a common transmission line. In a decoder, the luminance corrective signal is decoded to a luminance difference signal, which is added to an image signal decoded from the image code signal.

    摘要: Color image processing apparatus for displaying color images comprised of terminals for receiving pixel data and control data, first and second frame memories for storing the pixel data of 2 picture frames of image to be displayed, and first and second color look-up tables provided correspondingly with the first and second frame memories for storing color data to be referred by the pixel data in the first and second frame memories, which color data are determined individually between the first and second color look-up tables. The apparatus further comprises a control and output device for controlling arrangements of the first and second frame memories and the first and second look-up tables concurrently, and determining the color data to be stored individually in the first and second color look-up tables and outputting color pixel data determined according to the pixel data in the first and second frame memories and the color data in the first and second look-up tables in response to the control data inputted thereto.Further in detail, the control data cause the control and output device to combine the first and second frame memories so as to operate as a single unit and to make up a third look-up table having at least a color data domain equivalent to the first look-up table.
