摘要: A cam roller is engaged with a first engaged surface facing downward in a lifting and lowering direction of a cap and moves so as to follow the rotation trajectory about a shaft in the upward direction approaching a liquid ejecting head and in the downward direction separating from the liquid ejecting head. In addition, in the lifting and lowering direction of the cap, the cam roller is engaged from above with a second engaged surface which faces upward at a position lower than the first engaged surface and the first engaged surface has a plane portion as a non-overlapped area which does not overlap the second engaged surface in a direction perpendicular to both of the lifting and lowering direction and the direction of the shaft in a range that the cam roller follows the rotation trajectory about the shaft.

摘要: A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejecting head and a cleaning device. The liquid ejecting head has a nozzle formation surface and nozzles formed therethrough. The cleaning device applies a suction force to the inside of the liquid ejecting head through the nozzles to suck the liquid out of the liquid ejecting head for forcible discharging of the liquid. A liquid supplying apparatus includes a liquid supplying passage through which the liquid is supplied from a liquid supplying source at an upstream side, toward the liquid ejecting head at a downstream side. A pump is driven for suction and discharging operations. The pump includes a pump chamber and a displacement member. The displacement member is displaced between two or more positions that include a close position for closing an outlet port through which the liquid flows out of the pump chamber to the downstream side.

摘要: A fluid ejecting apparatus for ejecting a fluid includes a recording head and a capping device. The recording head includes a storage portion and a plurality of ejection nozzles. The capping device comes into contact with a discharge surface of the fluid in the recording head and receives the fluid discharged through the nozzles. The recording head capping device includes a cap-side channel and a passing portion. The cap-side channel faces the nozzles when the recording head capping device is in contact with the discharge surface. The passing portion creates negative pressure in the nozzles by passing a material in the cap-side channel. The cap-side channel includes a high flow rate section and a low flow rate section.
