Abstract: An external environment recognition device 101 estimates a blind spot region around a host vehicle based on information detected by a sensor that detects a target around the host vehicle. Abstract: An electronic control device mounted on a vehicle includes a blind spot region specifying unit, an information obtaining unit, and a blind spot region dangerous event determining unit. The blind spot region specifying unit specifies a blind spot region that is not included in a detection range of a sensor mounted on the vehicle. The information obtaining unit obtains lane information of a road around the vehicle including the blind spot region. The blind spot region dangerous event determining unit judges assumed behavior of a latent obstacle that possibly exist in the blind spot region based on the lane information of the blind spot region and a positional relationship of the blind spot region on the road with respect to the vehicle.

The label information UX400 includes at least safety-related information for the software units UX000. Upon receiving a rollback command, the update control unit E1400 selects software from the plurality of software units UX000 that has safety-related label information UX400 that is identical to safety-related label information UX400 of software installed at the vehicular control device as software to roll back.

Abstract: In the vehicle control device mounted on the vehicle, the information acquisition unit 11 acquires a vehicle information data group representing vehicle information regarding the behavior of the vehicle 2, a road environment data group 32 representing road environment information regarding the environment of the road on which the vehicle 2 is traveling, and a sensor recognition data group 33 representing sensor recognition information regarding the surrounding environment of the vehicle 2 recognized by the external sensor group 4 mounted on the vehicle 2. Based on the road environment data group 32 and the sensor recognition data group 33, the apparent obstacle prediction unit 12 predicts the future behavior of the apparent obstacle that may hinder the traveling of the vehicle 2. The lane risk map generation unit 15 generates a lane risk map representing the collision risk between the vehicle 2 and the obstacle for each lane of the road based on the vehicle information data group 31 and the future behavior of the apparent obstacle predicted by the apparent obstacle prediction unit 12.
