摘要: A computer-implemented method may be used for training aircraft operators. The method may include determining a set of recommended flight training topics for a target aircraft operator, and receiving flight data recorded from simulator training performed by the aircraft operator or operation of aircraft by the aircraft operator. Additionally, the method may include analyzing the flight data to determine a proficiency evaluation, the proficiency evaluation being a measure of proficiency of the aircraft operator in one or more training topics, and adjusting the set of recommended flight training topics based on proficiency evaluation.

For example, a method for providing data for simulating avionics systems may include: receiving, from a client device, a first message requesting information usable by the client device to simulate a functionality of an avionics system, the first message being in a web services data format; converting the first message to an avionics protocol data format to obtain a first converted message; providing the first converted message to a server application; receiving, from the server application, a second message including the requested information, the second message being in the avionics protocol data format; converting the second message to the web services data format to obtain a second converted message; and providing, to the client device, the second converted message.

摘要: A method for providing air traffic control (ATC) message data onboard an aircraft is provided. The method establishes communication connections to one or more aircraft onboard communication devices, wherein each of the one or more aircraft onboard communication devices is configured to provide the ATC message data using a particular format; obtains the ATC message data via the communication connections; aggregates the ATC message data, to create an aggregate set of ATC message data; presents a menu of user-selectable options based on an aircraft state, by a display device, wherein each of the user-selectable options is associated with a category of the aggregate set of ATC message data; receives a user input selection of one of the user-selectable options; and presents graphical elements and text associated with the category of the aggregate set of ATC message data, in response to the user input selection.

摘要: A system for integrating flight crew decision aid applications in an aircraft cockpit includes a touch screen controller (TSC) that comprises a data mining engine configured to mine aircraft data from the already existing avionics interface and a flight plan and trajectory generating engine (FPTGE) configured to retrieve a trajectory request from a requesting flight crew decision aid application, compute one or more theoretical trajectories using the mined aircraft data, and transmit the one or more theoretical trajectories to the requesting flight crew decision aid application. The TSC also comprises a flight crew decision aid application configured to receive a flight crew request for simulated data from a touch screen user interface, generate and transmit one or more requested trajectory requests to the FPTGE, receive data from the one or more theoretical trajectories from the FPTGE, and display the requested simulated data on the touch screen user interface.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for flight management system (FMS) familiarization training. The system comprises a user application programming interface (API) that receives a request for a training scenario from a user. A flight management engine (FME) generates the training scenario that simulates the flight mission of an FMS onboard a designated aircraft. The training scenario is generated using the same algorithms as the FMS. A database configuration module retrieves performance and condition data that is provided to the FME for use in generating the training scenario. An external API retrieves external third-party data that is provided to the FME for use in generating the training scenario.

The processor may generate vertical profile display data on the display based, receive a request to edit the vertical profile, expand the vertical profile display data on the display, generate a first movable reference line corresponding to one of an altitude, a distance and a time, receive, from the user interface, a flight plan change request to change an altitude, distance or time of the flight plan, the altitude, distance or time corresponding to the first movable reference line, generate a preview of an updated flight plan, and transmit the approval of the displayed updated flight plan to a flight management system, the flight management system configured to update the flight plan of the aircraft based upon the command to change the flight plan.

摘要: A method for communicating using an architecture compatible with a multi-function control and display unit (MCDU) onboard an aircraft is provided. The method intercepts MCDU format communications transmitted by a plurality of avionics systems to the MCDU using a plurality of MCDU communication connections, by at least one processor; presents the intercepted MCDU format communications, via a graphical user interface (GUI) presented by a display device communicatively coupled to the at least one processor; receives user input data via the GUI, wherein the user input data comprises at least one of data entry, user selections, and user commands associated with the plurality of avionics systems; and transmits the user input data to the plurality of avionics systems using the plurality of MCDU communication connections, by a communication device communicatively coupled to the at least one processor.

摘要: A method for obtaining, analyzing, and using pilot report (PIREP) data onboard an aircraft is provided. The method detects information relevant to one or more PIREPs associated with a current flight path of the aircraft, based on aircraft state data and avionics data obtained from a plurality of avionics systems, by at least one processor onboard the aircraft, wherein the one or more PIREPs includes at least one of instrumental PIREPs and pilot experience PIREPs; automatically completes a set of incomplete PIREPs associated with the current flight path using the information relevant to the one or more PIREPs, by the at least one processor, to generate complete PIREPs; and presents the complete PIREPs via a display device onboard the aircraft.
