    摘要: Disclosed herein is an apparatus for providing and monitoring a temporary electrical supply, which comprises a portable electrical panel with an array of circuit breakers, an array of electrical plugs for supplying a temporary source of electricity, and an array of amp and voltage meters that detect information needed for each corresponding phase. The Temporary Electrical Panel is supplied by a 50-amp cord and has a 40-amp main breaker. Each electrical plug is rated at 20 amps, tamper resistant, and GFCI protected, with a dedicated 20-amp breaker. The electrical plugs may also be color coded to differentiate which phase they are on. Additionally, the Temporary Electrical Panel comprises a plastic backing board with handle cut outs or a handle, which allow the Temporary Electrical Panel to be carried.

    摘要: A system for virtual interaction, comprising two or more portable electronic devices, is provided. Each device comprises, in turn, coordinate referencing means operable to define a coordinate system common to the portable electronic devices with respect to a physically defined reference position, position estimation means operable to detect a the physical position of its respective portable electronic device with respect to the reference position, virtual environment generation means operable to generate a virtual environment, and communication means operable to transmit positional data using the common coordinate system from that portable electronic device to another portable electronic device. The virtual environment is shared in common between the portable electronic devices. The virtual environment uses the common co-ordinate system within which each portable electronic device defines a position for itself responsive to its physical position with respect to the reference position.

    摘要: A nonvolatile nanoionic switch is disclosed. A thin layer of chalcogenide glass engages a substrate and a metal selected from the group of silver and copper photo-dissolved in the chalcogenide glass. A first oxidizable electrode and a second inert electrode engage the chalcogenide glass and are spaced apart from each other forming a gap therebetween. A direct current voltage source is applied with positive polarity applied to the oxidizable electrode and negative polarity applied to the inert electrode which electrodeposits silver or copper across the gap closing the switch. Reversing the polarity of the switch dissolves the electrodeposited metal and returns it to the oxidizable electrode. A capacitor arrangement may be formed with the same structure and process.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for an adaptive search user interface is provided. An interface is provided that returns search results upon receiving each alphanumeric character of a search query term. Correlations of prefixes of alphanumeric characters and search results selected from previous searches are stored in a correlation matrix. Based upon the correlations in the correlation matrix, relevance rankings for search results with respect to the prefixes of alphanumeric characters are updated. Search results may be grouped based upon one or more common traits. Relevance rankings are also updated based upon the rate of change of selections recorded for a search result.

    摘要: A static random access memory (SRAM) unit comprising a substrate, a gate dielectric layer, a gate, a trench capacitor, a pair of source/drain regions, a first contact and a second contact is provided. The substrate has a trench formed therein. The gate dielectric layer is disposed on the substrate and the gate is disposed on the gate dielectric layer. The trench capacitor is disposed in the trench near one side of the gate. The source/drain regions are disposed in the substrate near the respective sides of the gate with one of the source/drain region positioned between the gate and the trench capacitor. The first contact is electrically connected to the trench capacitor and the second contact is electrically connected to the other source/drain region.
