A method for processing key value information of a remote control, a control device, and a remote control that avoid a problem of reduced operation efficiency and reduced operation reliability caused by the need of simultaneous operations on two remote controls. Using the technical solution provided by this embodiment of the present application, it may be implemented that another remote control is synchronously set by performing operations on one remote control and displaying, using a display device, a to-be-learned button on the another remote control, which is easy to operate and thereby improves operation efficiency and operation reliability.

A home video communication method includes sending, by a home terminal, a detection message to a home server, where the detection message carries user account information, receiving, by the home server, the detection message that carries the user account information and is sent by the home terminal, performing, by the home server, matching on the account information, returning a video communication homepage to the home terminal after the matching is successful, receiving, by the home terminal, the video communication homepage returned by the home server, and establishing a socket connection to the home server by using the video communication homepage and a browser that supports web-based real time communication, and interacting, by the home terminal, with a Web Real Time Communication (WebRTC) proxy of the home server by using a web-based real time communication WebRTC application and by means of the Socket connection to implement video communication.

A method can be used for establishing a channel for managing an IPv4 terminal. An identifier of a network port of an IPv4 terminal is sent by a home gateway. A listening port is allocated to the IPv4 terminal according to the identifier of the network port of the IPv4 terminal, so as to establish a channel for managing the IPv4 terminal between the network port and the listening port, so that the IPv4 terminal is remotely managed by a management device. An identifier of a network port of an IPv4 terminal sent by the IPv4 terminal through a home gateway is received and a listening port is opened for the IPv4 terminal according to the identifier of the network port and used for receiving a management message sent by a management device.

It is implemented that when a different type of a device connected to a multimedia terminal matches a port, it is ensured that the multimedia terminal establishes a connection to a source device or a sink device.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for managing a terminal device, including: obtaining a description file of a UPnP device management data model of a UPnP device in a home network, where the UPnP device management data model is organized by the UPnP device according to a data model defined by a remote management protocol; establishing a data model meeting CWMP requirements, of the UPnP device according to the description file; sending information about the data model of the UPnP device meeting the CWMP requirements to an ACS; receiving a management command of the ACS for the data model of the UPnP device; and converting the management command into a UPnP device management command and sending it to the UPnP device.
