    Abstract: A congestion control method and an apparatus are disclosed. The method includes: after a sending device generates an unscheduled data packet of a first flow, if it is determined, based on an unscheduled packet send window shared by all flows, that the unscheduled data packet meets a sending condition, determining whether to request to add a quota for at least one of the unscheduled packet send window and a scheduled packet send window corresponding to the first flow; and if it is determined that the quota is requested to be added for the at least one of the unscheduled packet send window and the scheduled packet send window corresponding to the first flow, setting indication information in the unscheduled data packet, and sending, to a receiving device, the unscheduled data packet in which the indication information is set.

    Abstract: A method of distributed resource management in a distributed computing system includes determining usage of respective hardware resources by an application and generating usage metrics for the application, and assigning the application to a cluster of hardware resources to optimize diversity of usage of hardware resources in the cluster and to enhance utilization of the hardware resources by applications running in that cluster. The diversity of usage of the hardware resources is determined from respective usage metrics of the respective applications running in that cluster. The diversity of usage of the hardware resources in the cluster is optimized by assigning the application to a diversity pool of hardware resources adapted to minimize interference when applications assigned to the diversity pool of hardware resources access the hardware resources in the diversity pool and assigning applications from different diversity pools to the cluster of hardware resources.

    Abstract: A transit device receives a target token request sent by a data transmit end, and sends the target token request to a data receive end. The data receive end may determine, based on the target token request, a target token packet corresponding to the target token request, and then send the target token packet to the transit device based on a priority identifier. The transit device determines a sending rate of the token packet based on a link bandwidth of the current device, a preset packet length of a token packet, and a preset packet length of the data packet, and sends the target token packet to the data transmit end based on the priority identifier and the sending rate of the token packet. The transit device may send the target data packet to the data receive end.
