Abstract:
A method for associating a network service (NS) with a virtualized network function (VNF) to enable a network manager (NM) to determine a relationship between the NS and the VNF and maintain the NS. The method includes sending, by the NM, an NS instantiation request message to a network function virtualization orchestrator (NFVO), where the NS instantiation request message carries the information about the NS. The method further includes receiving, by the NM, an NS instantiation completion message from the NFVO, where the NS instantiation completion message carries information about the NS and information about N VNFs. The method further includes determining a mapping relationship between the NS and the N VNFs according to the information about the NS and the information about the N VNFs, where information about each VNF in the information about the N VNFs represents the VNF in the N VNFs forming the NS, and N≥one.
Abstract:
A quality parameter transmission method includes: sending, by the network side device, a first request message to the terminal, where the first request message is used to request a quality parameter related to user experience of a preset service; and after receiving the first request message from the network side device, sending, by the terminal, the quality parameter to the network side device. The network side device obtains, from the terminal, the quality parameter related to user experience of the preset service, and therefore can evaluate network operation quality by using the quality parameter, to facilitate network optimization, provide better network quality for the terminal, and improve user experience.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a VNF processing policy determining method, an apparatus, and a system, and relate to the field of communications technologies, to avoid a problem that an NS constituted by a VNF cannot normally run when an EM fails to configure an application parameter for the VNF. The method includes: receiving, by a management node, a configuration feedback message sent by an EM, and determining a processing policy for a VNF according to the configuration feedback message, where the configuration feedback message is used to indicate whether an application parameter of the VNF is successfully configured, and the processing policy is used by the management node to process the VNF. The method is applied to an NFV technology.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a network management system. The network management system includes: an operations support system (OSS), a domain function entity, and at least one virtual function node. The OSS is configured to: receive a service request of a user, and send the service request to the domain function entity. The domain function entity is configured to: receive the service request sent by the OSS, obtain an analysis result according to the service request and an analysis algorithm corresponding to the service request, and send the analysis result to a first virtual network function node corresponding to the service request. The first virtual network function node is configured to: perform related processing according to the analysis result sent by the domain function entity, and send a processing result to the domain function entity. The domain function entity is further configured to feed back the processing result to the OSS.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a mobility management method, a base station, and a user equipment. The method includes determining a first measurement configuration and a second measurement configuration. The first measurement configuration makes it more difficult than the second measurement configuration for a neighboring cell to meet a reporting criterion of a handover measurement report. The method also includes performing a measurement on a serving cell and the neighboring cell according to the first measurement configuration and performing a measurement on the serving cell and the neighboring cell according to the second measurement configuration when a reporting criterion of a handover measurement report of the first measurement configuration is not met and a timer used to detect a radio link failure starts.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and a device for reporting cell information and adjusting a cell mobility parameter. The method for reporting cell information includes a connection failure occurring on a terminal and re-establishing a radio resource control RRC connection with a cell by the terminal. A cell identity of a neighboring cell of a source cell and event information of the neighboring cell that is recorded by the terminal before the connection failure occurs is sent by the terminal to a base station that controls a cell where the RRC connection is re-established. Technical solutions provided in embodiments of the present invention may help improve the accuracy of mobility parameter adjustment on a network side and further improve the terminal handover efficiency.
Abstract:
Example data processing methods and apparatuses are disclosed. In one example data processing method, a first terminal obtains packet delay budget adjustment information, where the packet delay budget adjustment information is used to indicate an adjusted packet delay budget, a packet delay budget adjustment amount, or a packet delay budget adjustment range. The first terminal adjusts a size of a jitter buffer based on the packet delay budget adjustment information, and then buffers data based on the adjusted jitter buffer.
Abstract:
A network slice management method, and a management unit and a system that are based on the method are provided. The method includes: determining, by a first management unit, subnet requirement information based on network slice requirement information, where a network slice includes at least one subnet; sending, by the first management unit, a first negotiation request to a second management unit, where the first negotiation request carries the subnet requirement information, and the first negotiation request is used to query for a support status of the second management unit for the subnet requirement information; and determining, by the second management unit, that the second management unit can support the subnet requirement information, or determining, by the second management unit, that the second management unit cannot support the subnet requirement information.
