Abstract: An acknowledgment packet sending method and device are provided, so as to reduce sending of acknowledgment packets on an air interface, and improve efficiency of air interface resource utilization. After receiving a TCP acknowledgment packet that is sent by a TCP protocol entity unit of a communications device and does not carry data information, an RLC protocol entity unit of the communications device discards the received TCP acknowledgment packet; or determines, according to a sending status of an RLC acknowledgment packet, whether to send a TCP acknowledgment packet to a peer communications device, and performs corresponding processing according to a result of the determining.

Abstract: A method includes: selecting a paging channel for a paged user equipment according to rule information, where the paging channel includes a page indicator channel PICH channel or includes a PICH channel and a paging-message-bearer channel, and the rule information includes a quantity of page indicator channels and further includes a preset threshold and/or a correspondence between a user equipment type and a paging channel; calculating a paging occasion for the paged user equipment; and on the paging occasion, sending a page indicator to the paged user equipment through the selected PICH channel and sending a paging message to the paged user equipment through the paging-message-bearer channel, where the paging message carries paging data. The quantity of times that user equipment receives an unnecessary paging message is reduced, and the amount of electricity consumed by the user equipment is further reduced.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a cache data obtaining method. After detecting a first request message specific to a target data server, a data request device determines, based on a pre-received local cache device list sent by a base station, a target local cache device used to cache service data of the target data server. Subsequently, the data request device establishes a network connection to the target local cache device, and sends a service data request specific to the target data server to the target local cache device by using the network connection. With data of the target data server cached to a local cache device on a base station side, the data request device can directly request the target service data from the target local cache device.
