    Abstract: A cellular network-based assisted driving method and a traffic control unit are provided, to accurately assess a risk and provide a valuable safety warning for a vehicle. In various embodiment, a first about-to-occur track of a first vehicle is determined based on traveling status information of the first vehicle. The first about-to-occur track is a traveling track of the first vehicle that is to occur within preset duration from a current moment. Warning information can be sent to the first vehicle when it is determined that a second about-to-occur track of a second vehicle intersects the first about-to-occur track. The second about-to-occur track is a traveling track of the second vehicle that is to occur within the preset duration from the current moment.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a traffic control method and an apparatus. The method includes: obtaining, by a server, a traffic flow of a road; adjusting, by the server, a lane quantity or a lane width of the road at a lane layer on a map according to the traffic flow of the road; and sending, by the server, a lane layer obtained after the adjustment, so that a vehicle running on the road runs according to a lane obtained after the adjustment. In the embodiments of the present invention, the traffic flow of the road is obtained, and the lane quantity or the lane width of the road is adjusted at the lane layer on the map according to the traffic flow of the road, so that the vehicle running on the road can run according to the lane obtained after the adjustment.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for switching a roadside navigation unit in a navigation system. The method includes: receiving, by an OBU, a switching notification message from a first RSU, where the switching notification message is used to instruct the OBU to prepare to switch a home RSU of the OBU from the first RSU to a second RSU; sending, by the OBU, a registration request to the second RSU to request to obtain local path information of the OBU within a coverage area of the second RSU; receiving, by the OBU, the local path information; and switching, by the OBU, the home RSU of the OBU from the first RSU to the second RSU according to the local path information.

    Abstract: A transportation control unit (TCU) switching method includes receiving a first device message of a first device, determining a first location of the first device based on the first device message, and when the first location of the first device is in an information exchange area, sending the first device message of the first device to a second TCU, and when the first location of the first device meets a first preset condition, handing over the first device to the second TCU. In the present disclosure, the information exchange area is set, and a device message from an electronic device in the information exchange area is synchronized to a TCU to be obtained after switching from a TCU existing before the switching.
