摘要: A method for production refactoring of a company comprises quantifying risks stemming from regulations, in particular from an introduction of new regulation. It further comprises identifying actions to take in order to reduce an exposure to risk, quantifying costs of said actions and determining a revenue at risk depending on a revenue and a probability of failure representing said risks. Furthermore, it comprises determining a sequence of actions for solving an improvement problem depending on said revenue at risk and said costs of said actions and profits reducing said revenue at risks and said costs of said actions and increasing said profits.

摘要: Provided are methods for producing a reprogrammed fibroblast. The methods can include growing a plurality of fibroblasts in monolayer culture to confluency; and disrupting the monolayer culture to place at least a fraction of the plurality of fibroblasts into suspension culture under conditions sufficient to form one or more embryoid body-like spheres, wherein the one or more embryoid body-like spheres comprise one or more reprogrammed fibroblasts that express one or more markers not expressed by a fibroblast growing in the monolayer culture prior to the disrupting step. Also provided are reprogrammed fibroblasts produced by the disclosed methods, formulations that include reprogrammed fibroblasts, and methods for treating an injury to a tissue in a subject by administering to a subject in need thereof a composition of reprogrammed fibroblast cells in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

摘要: Embodiments can provide systems and methods for detecting fuel leaks in gas turbine engines. According to one embodiment, there is disclosed a method for detecting a fuel leak in a gas turbine engine. The method may include adjusting a control valve to correspond with a desired fuel flow. The method may also include determining an actual fuel flow based at least in part on an upstream pressure in a fuel manifold and one or more gas turbine engine parameters. The method may also include comparing the desired fuel flow with the actual fuel flow. Moreover, the method may include determining a difference between the desired fuel flow and the actual fuel flow, wherein the difference indicates a fuel leak.

摘要: The present disclosure describes a system and apparatus for providing a network service, such as Frame Relay. The apparatus transmits the service to the network utilizing a G.SHDSL transmission standard; converts data between data utilizing a DS-1 transmission standard and data utilizing a G.SHDSL transmission standard; stores a parameter relating to the network service (e.g., bandwidth); and provides access to the parameter to the network. The apparatus further includes a database for storing the parameters relating to the network service, and a processor for running a program, such as an emulator, to convert the data. The processor also may set an operation in response to a signal received from the network, including synchronizing a clock in the apparatus with a network clock, changing a bandwidth of the apparatus, and upgrading a computer program at the apparatus.

摘要: A product storage and display structure includes uprights, at least one shelf, and at least one shelf ledge. The shelf ledge includes first and second opposite ends, each end adapted to be removably coupled to an upright of the product storage and display structure. A barrier portion extends upwardly from the base portion, wherein when the base portion is coupled to the uprights, the barrier portion extends to a location proximate and at a higher elevation than the shelf of the product storage and display structure.
