摘要: A method of making a shingle and the shingle made in accordance with such method are provided, in which a shingle-forming layer of shingle material has a plurality of marks applied thereto prior to or after application of decorative granules to its tab region, and wherein the locations of the marks are sensed by a sensor, that then activates and controls the operation and placement of various shingle-completion steps as a function of the placement of the marks.

摘要: A (disposable) single-use closed mixing system consisting of a mixing impeller(s) on a shaft, the shaft being sealed to the top of the bag. The flexible bag is used as the reciprocating membrane. Bag sizes 1 to 10,000 liters, can be gamma sterilized or non-sterile. The bags can be round or square in shape. All components including the impeller, shaft and accessories are CLASS VI material. The impeller or impellers used for large bags can be round, or square with holes, flutes, fins, tubing or a combination of these to meet specific mixing requirements. A detachable electric or air powered actuator provides the reciprocating action. The impeller shaft is sealed to the bag eliminating the need for rotary seals. Disposal of the mixing system is environmentally friendly.

摘要: A helmet neck skirt system for covering an entirety of a user's neck to inhibit debris and adverse weather from providing discomfort to the user includes a collar member couplable to a full circumferential length around a base portion of a protective helmet such that the collar member extends down from the helmet generally parallel to the user's neck. Thus, the collar remains in generally spaced relationship to the user's neck and permits the insertion of an upper portion of a jacket or shirt worn by the user between the neck of the user and the lower portion of the collar. The collar extends down a distance sufficient to cover an entirety of the user's neck.

摘要: A single-use biobag provided with at least two none invasive florescent-optical sensors. The sterile sensors inside the biobag secured by an adhesive backing or secured by a CLASS VI fitting assures the sterile environment of the fluids in the bags. The sensors detectors are located outside the bag and secured in a position to align the sensors with the detectors. Either Velcro on the detector and outside of the bag has been used for sensor/detector alignment or the detector is mounted on the containment vessel and biobag straps are used to assure position of the bag for sensor/detector alignment. The process variables to be measured by the fluorescent optical disposable sensors are: DO, pH, CO2 and temperature. The biobag film is CLASS VI material and should be optically clear and free of interfering florescent compounds.
