    摘要: An optical disc apparatus and a method of determining an optimal writing power are provided to reduce the time required for Optimum Power Calibration (OPC) and reduce the difference between OPC results. The optical disc apparatus includes a light source which emits a laser beam to write/read data to/from an optical disc; a reader which receives a laser beam reflected from the optical disc and reads data written on the optical disc; and a controller which, to reduce the difference between OPC results, controls the light source to write test data more than once for determining an optimal writing power, controls the reader to read the test data, measures read quality of the test data, and detects an optimal writing power based on the measured read quality.

In an image forming apparatus capable of performing the printing operations at a particular printing operation that calls for a particular corresponding reference paper feeding speed, a reduction in the paper feeding noise may be achieved by providing a pickup roller operable at pickup/feeding speed that is slower than the reference feeding speed called for by the particular printing speed and a registration roller operable at the reference feeding speed. In addition, the pickup period at which the pickup roller picks up successive sheets of paper may be shortened to account for the slower operating speed of the pickup roller.

    摘要: A paper feeding mechanism, an image forming apparatus employing the same and a paper feeding method thereof are disclosed. In an image forming apparatus capable of performing the printing operations at a particular printing operation that calls for a particular corresponding reference paper feeding speed, a reduction in the paper feeding noise may be achieved by providing a pickup roller operable at pickup/feeding speed that is slower than the reference feeding speed called for by the particular printing speed and a registration roller operable at the reference feeding speed. In addition, the pickup period at which the pickup roller picks up successive sheets of paper may be shortened to account for the slower operating speed of the pickup roller.

    摘要: A heat exchanger having corrosion resistant resin-coated plates and pipes. The heat exchanger is easily constructed using the corrosion resistant resin-coated plates and the pipes. The heat exchanger does not require heat treatments or large constructing sections. In the heat exchanger according to the present invention, a gas is supplied to the outside of pipes, and air and/or water are passed through the pipes. As a result, heat change is accomplished. A pipe plate and a side wall of the heat exchanger are coated with Teflon or a heat resistant resin. In the feed water pre-heater for heating water, pipes are formed as metal pipes coated with a resin for maintaining the strength of the pipes. Thereafter, the pipes are individually welded and fabricated. In the feed air pre-heater, the heat exchanger has side walls, a pipe plate and pipes. The side walls and the pipe plate have essentially the same structure. The pipes are made of resin. The pipe plate and pipes are united by a metal assembling member. The pipe plate and the metal assembling member are fastened together with a pipe adjacent to them by means of four steel wires in order to prevent the separation of the pipe plate from the assembling member in response to the droop or vibration of the resin pipes.
