摘要： An organic thin film transistor and a method for fabricating the same are disclosed. The method for fabricating the organic thin film transistor includes forming a gate electrode on a substrate. A gate insulating layer is formed on an entire surface of the substrate including the gate electrode, and source and drain electrodes are formed at a predetermined interval from each other on the gate insulating layer. An organic semiconductor layer is formed on the entire surface of the substrate and a first protection layer is formed on the organic semiconductor layer. The first protection layer is patterned and the organic semiconductor layer etched using the remaining first protection layer as a mask. A second protection layer is then formed on the entire surface of the substrate.

摘要： A fabricating method of a flexible display device includes the steps of providing an adhesive layer including a first adhesive material on a first surface of a support film, a second adhesive material on a second surface of the support film such that an adhesive strength of the second adhesive material is lower than an adhesive strength of the first adhesive material, and a third adhesive material encompassing an edge of the second adhesive material such that an adhesive strength of the third adhesive material is higher than the adhesive strength of the second adhesive material; a first passivation film adhered to the first surface of the support film with the first adhesive material therebetween; and a second passivation film adhered to the second surface of the support film with the second adhesive material and the third adhesive material therebetween; peeling the first passivation film from the adhesive layer; adhering a rigid substrate to the first adhesive material; peeling the second passivation film from the adhesive layer; and adhering a flexible substrate onto the second and third adhesive materials.

摘要： A method for forming an alignment layer for a liquid crystal display includes preparing a substrate, applying an alignment material for initial alignment of a liquid crystal, and applying a field flux (e.g., an electric or magnetic field) to the alignment material to determine the alignment direction of the alignment material. Further disclosed is an apparatus for forming an alignment layer for a liquid crystal display. The apparatus comprises a substrate stage on which a substrate is mounted, and an electric or magnetic field generator installed at the periphery of the substrate stage. According to the method and the apparatus, since the alignment direction of an alignment material is determined by using an electric or magnetic field, no physical contact with a substrate is required and thus the problem of light leakage caused by rubbing alignment is solved.

摘要： A drum type washing machine including a tub installed in a cabinet is disclosed. The drum type washing machine includes a drum performing washing, a motor rotating the drum, bearing housings having bearings to support a rotation shaft, a suspension connected to the bearing housings and the cabinet to mitigate vibration generated during rotation of the drum, a bracket installed to the bearing housings to form the rear side of the tub, and a gasket installed between the bracket and the tub to seal the tub and to prevent vibration from being transmitted from the bracket to the tub. Volumes of the tub and the drum can be easily increased without increasing the volume of the cabinet. Even when the volume of the washing machine is changed, only one of the tub and the bearing housings, which is not applicable to the drum type washing machine having the changed washing capacity, is selectively replaced. Thus parts can commonly used in various drum type washing machine having different volume.

The washing machine includes a tub for containing wash water; a drum rotatably placed in the tub for containing laundry, and provided with through holes for circulating the wash water or air therethrough; a drying device provided with a circulation fan and a heater for drying the laundry in the drum; and a pumping device for pumping the wash water in the tub so that the wash water in the tub is circulated into the drum or heated by the air passing through the drying device, and is then circulated into the drum.
