Abstract:
A method of generating point cloud predictor includes: obtaining an encoding unit, wherein the encoding unit is generated from a current three-dimensional (3D) image, obtaining a current 3D block in the current 3D image according to the encoding unit, obtaining a reference 3D block in a reference 3D image according to the current 3D block, wherein the reference 3D image is associated with the current 3D image, obtaining a reference two-dimensional (2D) unit in a reference 2D image according to the reference 3D block, wherein the reference 2D image is generated from the reference 3D image, and generating and outputting a predictor according to a variation degree between the encoding unit and the reference 2D unit.
Abstract:
A video decoding method includes: receiving a coding value; and performing the following steps according to an index value of the coding value: collecting a plurality of reference samples, grouping the plurality of reference samples to generate at least one group, establishing a model of the at least one group, obtaining a target pixel from a target block, selecting a target group from the at least one group, and introducing a luminance value of the target pixel into a model of the target group to predict a chromaticity value of the target pixel.
Abstract:
An exemplary embodiment provides a sub-pixel driving system including a display panel, an image receiver, a control unit, an image-arrangement unit, and a driving unit. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels having a plurality of sub-pixels, wherein the display panel has a display characteristic. The image receiver receives a plurality of sub-pixel gradation signals. The control unit provides at least one driving parameter and determines a predetermined driving order, both according to the display characteristic. The image-arrangement unit arranges the sub-pixel gradation signals in a specific order according to the driving parameter. The driving unit drives the sub-pixels by the sub-pixel gradation signals that are arranged in the specific order according to the predetermined driving order.
Abstract:
A method for driving a dual-media display panel includes the following. Display data is obtained. A first driving signal for driving a transparent display panel of the dual-media display panel is generated in response to the display data. A display-unit grayscale value for the display data is obtained. The display-unit grayscale value is determined whether it falls within a grayscale value interval. When the display-unit grayscale value is less than a lower limit of the grayscale value interval, a driving signal adapted to enabling the light-shielding display panel to display a black color is used as the second driving signal. When the display-unit grayscale value is greater than an upper limit of the grayscale value interval, a driving signal adapted to enabling the light-shielding display panel to display a white color is used as the second driving signal.
Abstract:
A method for a user interface of a foldable display apparatus. Detect a device status of the foldable display apparatus, and read at least one touch point report data. Determine a region, where a touch event occurs, according to the device status and the touch point report data. Trigger the user interface according to the device status and the touch point report data.
Abstract:
A pixel driving method comprises the following steps: receiving a display image comprising a plurality of image points, wherein each image point corresponds a display color; producing a first sub-image and a second sub-image according to the display image, wherein the first sub-image displays a part of the image points, while the second sub-image displays the other part of the image points; and displaying at least one of the first sub-image and the second sub-image on the color display panel.
Abstract:
A foldable display, a flexible display and an icon controlling method are provided. The icon controlling method may include the following steps. A detecting unit detects a displaying area of a display panel. A controlling unit changes a grouping level of multiple icons according to the displaying area.
