Abstract: A positioning system having an onboard positioning device and a roadside device is provided. The onboard positioning device receives a plurality of first positioning signals and records a positioning moving locus of a vehicle according to the first positioning signals. The roadside device detects a real moving locus of the vehicle. The onboard positioning device obtains the real moving locus from the roadside device, and calculates a positioning calibration value according to coordinates of the positioning moving locus and coordinates of the real moving locus. Furthermore, the onboard positioning device receives a plurality of second positioning signals and calculates and outputs a plurality of calibrated positioning coordinates according to the second positioning signals and the positioning calibration value.

Abstract: A communication device, a communication and associated communication method are provided. The communication device is placed at a first moving device and the communication device includes a movement detection module, a transmitter, and a controller. The movement detecting module detects movement of the first moving device to obtain at least one first movement parameter at a first time point, and detects the movement of the first moving device to obtain at least one second movement parameter at a second time point latter than the first time point. The transmitter transmits the at least one first movement parameter. By estimating position of the first moving device at the second time point, the controller obtains an estimated internal movement parameter. The controller controls the transmitter to transmit the at least one second movement parameter selectively according to the estimated internal movement parameter and the at least one second movement parameter.

Abstract: An embodiment disclosed a system for collaborative positioning calibration, comprising at least one reference station and at least one client. The reference station uses a known position and a satellite signal transmitted by at least one satellite to compute a pseudo-range difference of the reference station position and the satellite position, and then broadcasts an area calibration data including at least one pseudo-range difference to at least one client. Based on the area calibration data, the client computes at least one pseudo-range calibration data and outputs a calibrated position of global positioning system.
