Abstract: A computer-readable storage medium stores instructions to configure a UE for sidelink operation in a 5G NR network, and to cause the UE to perform operations including decoding a first sidelink transmission received from a second UE. The first sidelink transmission includes a first resource reservation for a subsequent sidelink transmission by the second UE. A second sidelink transmission received from a third UE is decoded. The second sidelink transmission includes a second resource reservation for a subsequent sidelink transmission by the third UE. A co-channel collision is detected based on the first resource reservation and the second resource reservation being in a same sidelink slot. A feedback message is encoded for transmission to the second UE and the third UE. The feedback message indicates the co-channel collision.

Abstract: Various embodiments herein provide techniques for minimum mean-square error interference rejection combining (MMSE-IRC) processing of a received signal, distributed between a baseband unit (BBU) and a remote radio unit (RRU). The RRU may perform uplink receive beamforming (e.g., using maximum ratio combining (MRC)) based on multiple channel measurements (e.g., a set of multiple sounding reference signal (SRS) channel measurements) obtained on respective measurement signals transmitted by a user equipment (UE). The RRU may send the processed signal to the BBU for further processing. The BBU may perform MMSE-IRC based on the processed signal received from the RRU, e.g., using demodulation reference signals (DM-RSs). Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

Abstract: Systems and methods provide for testing receiver (Rx) performance requirements of a user equipment (UE). Test equipment is configured to generate a radio frequency (RF) signal with a power level (Es) and determine a power spectral density (Noc) for an artificial noise signal. The Es and Noc may be selected to emulate a target signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) at a baseband Rx chain of the UE and to compensate for UE RF noise. The RF signal and the noise signal may be combined to produce an applied signal provided to the UE for testing.

In some embodiments, sidelink control signalling supports the reservation and indication of multiple sidelink resources.
