    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for receive (Rx) beam selection are described herein. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may be configured to receive, from a base station (BS), configuration information for joint communication and sensing (JCS) reference signals. The configuration information may include resources for reference signal transmission and resources for measurement reporting. The WTRU may be further configured to receive, from the BS, an indication to activate a subset of the resources for JCS reference signal transmission. The WTRU may be further configured to transmit, a plurality of JCS reference signals using the activated subset of resources for reference signal transmission. The WTRU may be further configured to measure, via a plurality of Rx beams, a backscatter power associated with each of the transmitted plurality of JCS reference signals. The WTRU may be further configured to calculate beam blockage statistics based on the measured backscatter power.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for sensing a cluster of closely-spaced objects are described herein. A method implemented in a first station (STA) may include receiving, from a second STA, a multicast message including information indicating a request for one or more STAs to participate in a sensing procedure and information indicating one or more sensing parameters. The method may include transmitting, to the second STA, an indication that the first STA is capable of participating in the sensing procedure based on the one or more sensing parameters, the indication including information associated with a participation ability of the first STA. The method may include receiving, from the second STA, configuration information for performing the sensing procedure sensing as a transmit responder based on the information associated with the participation ability of the first STA, and performing the sensing procedure as the transmit responder by transmitting beamformed signals.

    Abstract: WTRUs, ARSs, APs, WLG/AAA proxies, networks, and methods thereon are disclosed for fast security setup on a multi-RAT WTRU. Methods of sharing security associations between RATs on a multi-RAT WTRU are disclosed. Methods of caching security associations are disclosed. Methods are disclosed for alerting an ANDSF server of an AP that should be considered for association. Enhancements to advertisements from an AP are disclosed where the advertisements may include SSID with a FQDN, a HESSID type information, or TAI type information. Methods of resolving AP identities to a reachable address are disclosed. An address resolution protocol is disclosed for resolving AP identities. ARSs are disclosed that may resolve a BSSID to a network routable address. Protocols for carrying AP identities and security parameters are disclosed. Methods are disclosed of using ANDSF to provide the WTRU with security information and parameters of an AP. An RSN may indicate security capabilities.

    Abstract: Procedures, methods, apparatuses, devices, and computer program products for determining sidelink transmission power. A first Wireless Transmit/Receive Unit, WTRU senses for at least one signal, using: a first receive beam in a first direction associated with an upcoming sidelink unicast transmission to a target WTRU and (2) a second receive beam for in an opposite direction, determines, from the sensed signal(s), scheduled transmissions that will interfere with the upcoming sidelink unicast transmission based on the scheduled transmissions overlapping in time and frequency with the upcoming sidelink unicast transmission, determines a transmission power to compensate for: (1) pathloss and (2) estimated interference at the target WTRU of scheduled transmissions interfering with and that have a lower priority than the upcoming sidelink unicast transmission, the estimated interference based on respective sensed signal received signal strengths, and sends to the target WTRU data in the sidelink unicast transmission using the determined transmission power.

    Abstract: A wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) may receive a set of candidate resources, which may be used for transmission. The WTRU may periodically perform CCA on a channel (e.g., before transmitting on the channel). When the channel is determined to be free, the WTRU may determine a resource for transmission from the candidate resources. The resource may be determined based on the time remaining in the time period. For example, when the time remaining in the time period is shorter, the WTRU may determine to transmit on a resource that comprises more frequency resources. The WTRU may determine a Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) scheme based on the number of frequency resources. The WTRU may send a transmission on the resource, which may include a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS). The DM-RS may indicate the resource used from transmission to a receiver of the transmission.
