    Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, architectures and interfaces for receiving system information performed by a wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) having reduced capacity, are provided. A method may include any of: receiving a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) transmission of a cell, the PBCH transmission including information, wherein the information indicates a first control resource set (CORESET) associated with reception of a system information block (SIB); receiving, via the first CORESET, a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmission including information indicating a first type SIB associated with the first PDCCH transmission, wherein the information indicating the first type SIB includes information indicating a second CORESET that (1) is associated with reception of a second type SIB, and (2) has fewer resource blocks than the first CORESET; and receiving, via the second CORESET, a second PDCCH transmission including information indicating the second type SIB associated with the second PDCCH transmission.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for addressing power savings signals in wireless communication. A wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) may monitor for an energy saving signal (ESS) while the WTRU is asleep (e.g., prior to a discontinuous reception (DRX) ON duration that includes one or more search spaces). The WTRU may measure the energy of the ESS. If the ESS is below a threshold, the WTRU fallback to a default operation or continue in a current operating mode (e.g., remain asleep to save power). If the ESS is above a threshold, the ESS may be received using a coverage enhancement (CE) level based on a parameter associated with a search space. The parameter may be the highest aggregation level of the one or more search spaces.

    Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may comprise a processor and memory. The processor and memory may be configured to receive configuration information indicating measurement relaxation criteria for radio link monitoring (RLM) or beam failure detection (BFD) and a prohibit time period for reporting a measurement relaxation state. The WTRU may determine that the measurement relaxation state of the WTRU has changed based on the measurement relaxation criteria. The WTRU may determine that the prohibit time period has ended. The WTRU may send a report based on the determination that the measurement relaxation state has changed and the determination that the prohibit time period has ended. The report may include an indication of a measurement relaxation state.

    Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may determine a first set of beams and a second set of beams, that a respective quality of each beam in the first set of beams is less than a predetermined quality value, and that a beam that is in the second set of beams and not in the first set of beams has a quality that is equal to or greater than the predetermined quality value. The WTRU may select the beam that is in the second set of beams and not in the first set of beams and whose quality is equal to or greater than the predetermined quality value, for a BFR and send a message that indicates the selected beam for the BFR to abase station (e.g., a gNodeB). The WTRU may receive a message comprising the selected beam from the gNodeB.

    Abstract: Methods for receiving downlink control information (DCI) are provided herein. A method performed by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may include receiving configuration information indicating a location of a monitoring indicator and identifying a first one or more search spaces and a second one or more search spaces. The method may include receiving a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmission including first DCI, the DCI including the monitoring indicator at the indicated location. The method may include monitoring, based on the monitoring indicator, either the first one or more search spaces or the second one or more search spaces and decoding a second PDCCH transmission detected in either the first one or more search spaces or the second one or more search spaces to receive second DCI.

    Abstract: A WTRU may be configured to receive, in a first search space (SS) group (SSG), a first downlink transmission. The first downlink transmission may comprise first configuration information associated with power saving and downlink transmission monitoring. The WTRU may be configured to monitor for a second downlink transmission based on the first configuration information. On a condition that the first configuration information indicates a first value, the WTRU may be configured to monitor in the first SSG. On a condition that the first configuration information indicates a second value, the WTRU may be configured to monitor in a second SSG. On a condition that the first configuration information indicates a third value, the WTRU may be configured to skip downlink transmission monitoring in the first SSG for a first interval and monitor in the first SSG. The WTRU may receive the second downlink transmission based on the first configuration information.
