    Abstract: Predictive monitoring of a rotational machine of a cooling apparatus is provided by integrating a predictive vibration analyzer into an electronics rack being cooled by the cooling apparatus. The integrating includes associating at least one sensor of the predictive vibration analyzer with the rotational machine of the cooling apparatus. The analyzer includes a predetermined harmonics table of one or more base operational frequencies and associated rotational speed harmonics for the rotational machine indicative of one or more rotational faults, and the predictive vibration analyzer automatically evaluates vibration of the rotational machine during operation of the machine by analyzing vibration data therefor, and automatically ascertains, based on the vibration data, and the predetermined harmonics table, whether the rotational machine is predicted to possess a rotational fault of the one or more rotational faults.

    Abstract: Mapping boxes in a storage bay is provided, which includes: ascertaining storage bay boundaries; wirelessly reading, using a mobile device, identifying information from tags associated with the boxes, each box having one or more associated tags, and the identifying information including size information for the associated box; determining position of the tags in the storage bay by triangulating tag locations relative to, in part, one or more locations of the mobile device; and creating, by a processor, a mapping of boxes in the storage bay using the tag positions and the identifying information wirelessly read from the tags. In one or more implementations, the tags are near-field communication (NFC) tags associated with the boxes, and the creating may include automatically reorienting a floating box in the mapping of boxes, as well as automatically repositioning a box when boxes overlap each other, or overlap an edge of the storage bay.

    Abstract: Assigning boxes to available spaces in storage bays may include: obtaining a first data structure identifying available spaces in multiple storage bays, the first data structure including xyz measurements of available spaces, and the multiple storage bays including one or more boxes; comparing, by a processor, for match xyz dimensions of a box with xyz dimensions of one or more available spaces in the first data structure to identify a matching available space, the box being selected from a second data structure identifying boxes to be placed into the multiple storage bays; and assigning, based on a match, the box to the matching available space, and removing the box from the second data structure, and the matching available space from the first data structure. The assigning of boxes may be combined with identifying desired products to be ordered, and ordering products based on available spaces in the storage bays.

    Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide methods, systems, and computer program products for implementing predictive three-phase power distribution unit (PDU) output load switching for input phase balancing. Disclosed embodiments measure PDU output port power values for powering a plurality of loads over time, perform pattern recognition on the PDU output port power values over time to produce recognized power patterns; and create switching rules based on the recognized power patterns to provide input phase load balancing, wherein the switching rules include at least one of (i) predicted output port power values for a periodic time interval, or (ii) predicted output port power values based on the measured PDU output port power values associated with the loads. Disclosed embodiments switch input phase connection to one or more PDU outputs based on the switching rules.

    Abstract: Tamper-respondent sensors with random three-dimensional security patterns and methods of fabrication are provided. The method includes establishing a security circuit pattern for a security circuit of a tamper-respondent sensor to enclose, at least in part, one or more components of a circuit board within a secure volume. The establishing includes obtaining in three-dimensions boundaries for the security circuit of the tamper-respondent sensor. The boundaries define a sensor volume within which the security circuit is to reside. The establishing also includes generating at least one trace configuration for the security circuit pattern. The at least one trace configuration defines a random, three-dimensional security pattern within the sensor volume, and the at least one trace configuration establishes, at least in part, the security circuit pattern. The process further includes fabricating the tamper-respondent sensor using, at least in part, the established security circuit pattern.
