摘要: A computer implemented method, apparatus, system, and computer program product manages updates to images. A computer system determines shared layers present between the images selected for update management. The images comprise executable code that are run to create containers. The computer system detects a change in a shared layer in the shared layers for an image in the images. The computer system updates the shared layer in the shared layers in a set of the images having the shared layer in response to detecting the change to the shared layer for the image. According to other illustrative embodiments, a computer system and a computer program product for managing updates to images are provided.

摘要: A method for transmitting web-conference content over a network connection is disclosed. In one embodiment, such a method conducts a web conference over a network connection. The method monitors characteristics of the network connection in order to determine bandwidth of the network connection during the web conference. The method implements, on the network connection, a “raw” mode wherein audio data of the web conference is transmitted over the network connection in an original format. Upon detecting a low bandwidth condition on the network connection, the method toggles from the “raw” mode to a “saving” mode where audio data of the web conference is converted to text at a first end of the network connection, transmitted over the network connection as text, and converted from text back to audio data at a second end of the network connection. A corresponding system and computer program product are also disclosed.

摘要: An embodiment includes determining, based on historical data associated with a specific task, a baseline bandwidth recommendation for completing the specific task. The embodiment assigns, for a first time period, the specific task to a first computing device on a network. The embodiment allocates, for the first time period based on the baseline bandwidth recommendation, a first baseline bandwidth to the first computing device. The embodiment allocates, for the first time period, a portion of a shared buffer bandwidth as a first buffer bandwidth to the first computing device based on a weight value assigned to the specific task. The first buffer bandwidth combines with the first baseline bandwidth as a first total bandwidth for the specific task. The embodiment throttles, during the first time period, data packets associated with the specific task based on the first total bandwidth for the specific task.

A processor adds an annotation for the Pod to the local first Pod API object and the first Pod API object. A processor creates a local endpoint API object in the first lower cluster based on an endpoint API object in the upper cluster and annotations of Pods in the upper cluster. A processor redirects the first request to the endpoint of the second Pod described in the local endpoint API object.

摘要: In an approach for an API key access authorization, a processor receives a transaction identity, a part of a token, and an API key identity attribute from a server. The transaction identity is generated in the server associated with generating the token. A processor receives a request from a client with the transaction identity for the part of the token. A processor looks up a transaction table via the transaction identity as an index. The transaction identity is associated with the part of the token and the API key identity attribute. A processor retrieves a client identity attribute through a second server via an IP address of the client. The second server registers the client. A processor matches a policy via the API key identity attribute and the client identity attribute. A processor sends the part of the token to the client.

摘要: An approach is provided in which an information handling system receives, at a network virtualization edge (NVE), a set of Diffserv parameters comprising at least one classifier parameter, at least one meter parameter, at least one marker parameter, and at least one shaper/dropper parameter. The NVE performs a deep inspection on a plurality of data packets to classify the plurality of data packets at one or more classification levels. In turn, the NVE passes the set of Diffserv parameters and the one or more classification levels to underlay switch hardware.
