摘要: An illustrative embodiment includes a method for analyzing unstructured multidimensional data with a neural network. The method includes designing the neural network at least in part by defining differential operators conforming with dimensions of the data. The method also includes performing forward propagation at a given convolution layer of the neural network at least in part by: obtaining one or more convolved values at least in part by performing convolution over an object within the data, processing respective convolved values to obtain output, and updating the object based at least in part on the output.

摘要: Devices, systems, computer-implemented methods, and computer program products that can facilitate estimating orientation and/or identity of an entity that touches a touch screen device are provided. According to an embodiment, a device can comprise a pixelated touch screen that provides a two-dimensional capacitance map in response to detection of one or more entities touching the pixelated touch screen. Capacitance data of the two-dimensional capacitance map is inversely proportional to a distance between fingers of the one or more entities and the pixelated touch screen. The device can further comprise a processor that applies an analytic method to the two-dimensional capacitance map to estimate orientation or identity of the one or more entities.

摘要: Free-form discovery of differential equations for modeling a physical system or process under investigation that includes defining a formal language sentence grammar that describes admissible relationships between quantities, and incorporating the use of such grammar for free-(functional) form, automatic discovery of differential equations. The method requires minimum knowledge of the desired differential equation and is universally applicable to ordinary and partial differential equations. From received training set data representing inputs to the physical system and measured outputs, a numerical error bound data, primitive operators, differential equation operators, variables, coefficients and grammatical rules that define the syntax of valid expressions, the system finds a model characterized by sources of error to find a simplest (minimum complexity) mathematical expression comprising differential operators such that a discrepancy between the observed data and the value of the mathematical expression is bounded, and the mathematical expression is consistent with valid syntax constraints.

摘要: Low-cost techniques for sensing ambient temperatures in a container or package using phase change materials are provided. In one aspect, a temperature sensor is provided. The temperature sensor includes: at least one phase change material configured to transition from an amorphous state to a crystalline state upon exposure to temperatures above a predetermined threshold temperature for a given duration. A method of monitoring temperature exposure of a consumer good using the temperature sensor is also provided.

摘要: Methods and systems for generating output of a simulation model in a simulation system are described. In an example, a processor may retrieve observed output data from a memory. The observed output data may be generated based on a simulation operator of a simulation model. The processor may further optimize a generalization error of a distance measure between the observed output data and model output data. The model output data may be generated based on a high-fidelity operator. The processor may further determine a correction operator based on the optimized generalization error of the distance measure. The processor may further append the correction operator to the simulation operator to produce a supplemented operator. The processor may further generate supplemented output data by applying the simulation model with the supplemented operator on a set of inputs.

摘要: Embodiments herein disclose computer-implemented methods, computer program products and computer systems for authenticating a user. The computer-implemented method may include receiving biographical data corresponding to a user. A change rate may be determined based on user biographical data. The computer-implemented method may include receiving first biometric data having a time-varying characteristic from the user at a first time and receiving second biometric data having the time-varying characteristic from the user at a second time that is later in time than the first time. Further, the computer-implemented method may include determining third biometric data based at least on the first biometric data, the second time, and the time-varying characteristic, and authenticating the user if the third biometric data is within a predetermined threshold of the second biometric data at the second time.
