摘要: Techniques provide a framework for dynamic globalization enablement for an application during software development. A globalization development operation information system (GDOIS) retrieves source code for the application, which is assigned to support specified globalization features. The GDOIS evaluates the source code for each of the plurality of specified globalization features. Upon determining that the source code does not include at least a first specified globalization feature, the GDOIS identifies an application programming interface (API) associated with the feature. The GDOIS inserts source code associated with the API into the source code for the application.

摘要: Techniques are disclosed for providing a break reminder in a multi-device and multi-user environment. A management service monitors usage activity of one or more devices by a first user in a plurality of users. Each of the one or more devices is associated with the first user. An amount of weighted use time of each user on one or more devices (from a first point in time to a second point in time) is determined based on the usage activity. Upon determining that the amount of time exceeds a specified threshold amount of time, the management service generates a break reminder. The management service sends the break reminder to at least one of the one or more devices currently being used.

摘要: Techniques are disclosed enabling a wireless device to associate other wireless devices within a communication range of the wireless device as belonging to a specific individuals or groups recognized by the wireless device. In one embodiment, a first set of data including an identifier broadcast from the other wireless device in proximity to the wireless device is received by the wireless device. The wireless device identifies a user in a set of event data available on the wireless device. The wireless device evaluates the set of event data and the identifier to correlate the identifier of the other wireless device with the user. Upon determining that the identifier from the other wireless device has an association with the user identified in the set of event data, the wireless device assigns a display label to represent the other wireless device on the wireless device.

An example method generally includes receiving a sequence of hand-gesture inputs from an input device, detecting a pattern corresponding to each hand-gesture input in the sequence, determining a sequence of numeric values that correspond to the sequence of hand-gesture inputs based on the detected patterns, and, as each input in the sequence of hand-gesture inputs is received, determining a list of one or more characters to display based, at least in part, on the sequence of numeric values and an index of characters.

摘要: Provided are techniques for intelligent preemptive processing to avoid data from becoming Redundant, Obsolete or Trivial (ROT). An application configuration is monitored to generate application configuration data. Application settings are reconfigured based on the application configuration data and based on a risk data list, where the risk data list identifies one or more data files. A data file of the data files in an existing data format is preemptively converted to a new data format based on the reconfigured application settings. An attempt is made to verify the conversion by using the reconfigured application settings. In response to determining that the conversion succeeded and that a request is received from a new application to open the data file, the data file having the new data format is opened. In response to determining that the conversion failed, an error message is sent to request update of server data.
