One exemplary composition, among others, includes a basic component, an acidic component, at least one monoacrylate component, a light sensitive initiator, and a polar binder. A polymerization reaction between the at least one monoacrylate component and the light sensitive initiator occurs upon exposure to optical energy. The polar binder includes a viscosity modifier and a surface tension modifier. The polar binder is capable of stimulating a crosslinking reaction between the basic component and the acidic component.

In one embodiment, a method can comprise a) ink-jetting a first ink-jettable composition containing a reactive build material and a second ink-jettable composition containing a curing agent separately onto a substrate such that contact between the reactive build material and the curing agent occurs, thereby resulting in a reaction that forms a solidifying composition, and b) repeating the ink-jetting step such that multiple layers of solidifying composition are accrued, wherein said multiple layers are successively bound to one another to form the solid three-dimensional object.

The pigment includes metal oxide and/or mixed metal oxide particles and a plurality of reacted dispersant molecules attached to the outer surfaces of the particles to form a coating on the outer surfaces. The reacted dispersant molecules are attached to the metal oxide and/or mixed metal oxide particle outer surfaces through a silanol linking group of the reacted dispersant molecules. The coating is present in an amount ranging from about 10 wt % to about 50 wt % with respect to the wt % of the metal oxide and/or mixed metal oxide particles.
