    摘要: The present disclosure relates to computer-implemented systems and methods for establishing a wireless display connection. A user device may detect, by an RFID tag, a signal from a wireless display device. As a result, the user device may transmit, by the RFID tag to the wireless display device, radio communication information. To this end, the user device and the wireless display device may establish a radio connection. Using the radio connection, the user device may receive wireless display connection information from the wireless display device. The user device may establish, using wireless display connection information, a streaming wireless display connection with the wireless display device.

    摘要: Certain embodiments herein relate to authenticating access to a computing device by a user. Such authentication can be performed by processing information received from a wearable device transmitting a signal, including access credentials data, through the user's body to a computing device in electrical contact with the computing device. The computing device can process the received signal to extract the access credentials data. Upon validating the extracted access credentials data, the computing device can grant a user access to the computing device. In some embodiments, the computing device can additionally receive biometric data acquired from the user by the computing device. In such embodiments, the computing device can grant the user access to the computing device if the received access credentials data and the received biometric data are authenticated.

    摘要: Apparatus, system and method to provide switchable coils in a computing device, comprising: a plurality of electrically conductive coils to transfer electromagnetic energy; a sensor coupled to a processor, to select a coil from among the plurality of electrically conductive coils; a switch to energize the selected coil; and a switch controller coupled to the switch and to the processor. In some embodiments, the plurality of coils may comprise an inductive charging interface. Some embodiments may further include a communication interface between the processor to the plurality of electrically conductive coils, the plurality of coils comprising an interface for near-field communications (NFC). The antenna coils may be arranged to provide improved NFC coverage when the computing device is in a respective predetermined physical configuration. Sensors may be used to detect the configuration and switch NFC communications to use a preferred antenna coil for the detected configuration.

    摘要: Techniques are disclosed involving reconfigurable coils. Such coils may be used in applications, including (but not limited to) wireless charging and near field communications (NFC). For instance, a reconfigurable coil may include a first conductive portion and a second conductive portion. Two or more configurations may be established. These configurations may correspond to particular current paths. For example, in a circular configuration, a path is provided having the same rotational sense in both first and second conductive portions. However, in a figure eight configuration, a path is provided having a first rotational sense in the first conductive portion and a second rotational sense in the second conductive portion. A switch coupled between these portions may set the coil's configuration. Configurations may be selected based on one or more operating conditions involving the coil.
