A Ship Board Ground Monitor System measures an antistatic bond between a ship and a loading-off-loading facility during operation and an earth ground while in the process of loading or unloading flammable materials.The system ensures that a maximum adjustable, preset resistance between the ship transport and safety ground is not exceeded. Should this resistance be exceeded, the control apparatus within the system will activate audible and visual annunciation and provide a contact output, which may be used to disable pumping systems.

An apparatus includes an electro-magnetic metallurgy high powered electric energy density push-repel two stage magnetic stack cylinder drive motor and a hydro-kinetic high pressure hydraulic and nitrogen gas piston drive pump propulsion motor arrangement. A linear electric generator can be coupled to the arrangement to generate electric energy or the output shaft may be provided for propulsion uses.

A system for converting marine surface wave energy into electric energy includes a barrier disposed generally vertically and having at least a portion thereof disposed above a surface of a body of water. The portion has a substantially planar surface disposed generally transverse to direction of marine surface waves. Bottom edge of the barrier is pivotally connected to one of a floor bed, a rigid formation and a rigid structure. At least one linear electric generator is coupled to storage of electric energy and is operable by a pivotal movement of the barrier. One type of electric generator is disposed external to the barrier while another type is mounted within a barrier chamber.

The present invention relates, in general, to wind turbines for power generation and, more particularly, this invention relates to a vertical axis hydro kinetic wind generator with an independent free turning magnetically levitated high powered magnetic translator stack. The present invention is an anywhere anytime vertical axis hydro kinetic wind generating solution with distinct advantages over conventional horizontal and vertical wind turbines with low cost global deployment better operational performance and greater environmental advantages.The turbine converts high pressure hydraulic kinetic energy stored in the high pressure reservoir into mechanical energy that drives a vertical axis linear generator with an independent free turning high powered magnetic translator stack. The high pressure reservoir, hydraulic pump motor, microprocessor controller and algorithm software and the fully levitated vertical axis linear generator along with light weight sail blades are instrumental for the improved operation of the present invention.
