    摘要: A liquid crystal display (LCD) apparatus is divided into a display area on which an image is displayed and a non-display area surrounding the display area. The LCD apparatus includes an organic insulating layer partially formed in the non-display area. A portion of the organic insulating layer is not formed, obtaining a vent space through which to exhaust air trapped when a first substrate is combined with a second substrate of the liquid crystal display apparatus. The LCD apparatus may rapidly and easily exhaust the trapped air from the display area and uniformly maintain the cell gap between the first and second substrates, improving display quality of the LCD apparatus.

    摘要: A display substrate includes a plurality of gate wirings, a plurality of source wirings, a plurality of pixel portions, an electrical short pad part and a short element. The electrical short pad part is formed in a peripheral area surrounding the display area and formed from at least one of the gate metallic layer and the source metallic layer to receive a common voltage. The short element makes contact with the electrical short pad part and has electric conductivity. The electrical short pad part includes a first metallic layer and a second metallic layer in sequence, and the second metallic layer has greater ionization energy than the first metallic layer. The electrical short pad part is exposed onto the surface of the display substrate. Accordingly, an extra cover electrode for preventing the electrical short pad part from corrosion may be omitted, so that static electricity is prevented from being applied into the display substrate.

    摘要: An organic electrolytic solution and a lithium secondary battery employing the same are provided. The organic electrolytic solution contains an organic solvent and a lithium salt and the organic solvent includes 20 to 60% by volume of ethylene carbonate, 20 to 70% by volume of dialkyl carbonate and 5 to 30% by volume of a fluorinated toluene compound. The organic electrolytic solution has improved high-temperature exposure characteristic by virtue of the use of a fluorinated toluene compound having a high boiling point in combination with mixed solvents of ethylene carbonate and dialkyl carbonate. The lithium secondary battery employing the organic electrolytic solution is excellent in the high-temperature exposure characteristic, while maintaining good discharge capacity and lifetime characteristics.

    摘要: An array substrate includes a transparent substrate, a switching element, an insulating layer and a pixel electrode. The switching element includes a gate electrode formed on the transparent substrate and connected to a gate line, a channel layer formed on the gate electrode and extended in a first direction, a source electrode formed on the transparent substrate and connected to a source line and a drain electrode formed on the channel layer to cover the channel layer. The insulating layer has a contact hole to partially expose the drain electrode and the transparent substrate. The pixel electrode is connected to the drain electrode through the contact hole. When the above array substrate is employed in a liquid crystal display panel, the array substrate reduces pixel defect.

    摘要: Disclosed is a liquid crystal display device capable of improving a viewing angle thereof while reducing a gray scale inversion. The liquid crystal display device has a porous film aligned on a liquid crystal display panel and having a plurality of pores. The porous film has sidewalls defined by the pores and reflecting a part of light exited from the liquid crystal display panel. That is, the sidewalls reflect a first group of light, which has relatively higher luminance by passing through a short axis of liquid crystal, towards a second group of light having a relatively lower luminance by passing through a long axis of liquid crystal. Accordingly, the viewing angle of the liquid crystal display device is expanded and the gray scale inversion is reduced.

    摘要: Disclosed is a liquid crystal display device capable of improving a viewing angle thereof while reducing a gray scale inversion. The liquid crystal display device has a porous film aligned on a liquid crystal display panel and having a plurality of pores. The porous film has sidewalls defined by the pores and reflecting a part of light exited from the liquid crystal display panel.
