    摘要: A driver integrated circuit (IC) for a liquid crystal display (LCD) has a double column structure. The driver IC includes a first shift register unit, a first data latch unit, first and second decoders, and first and second output buffers. The first data latch unit receives and stores first and second group channel data in response to a clock signal generated by the first shift register unit. The first decoder receives the first group channel data and outputs gamma voltages corresponding to the first group channel data. The second decoder receives the second group channel data and outputs gamma voltages corresponding to the second group channel data. The first and second output buffers are aligned along a long edge of the driver IC and buffer the corresponding gamma voltages to drive corresponding channels. The first shift register unit and the first data latch unit are shared by upper and lower blocks to process the first and second group channel data together.

The present system includes a power supply device for receiving and supplying external input power to a device for power supply, a remote controller for controlling an operation of the power supply device according to a remote control signal from a remote place, an uninterruptible power supply device for supplying operation power to the remote controller, a first line switch for, when a power switch is turned on, supplying the external input power to the power supply device and the uninterruptible power supply device, and a second line switch disposed between the power supply device and the first line switch and cutting off the external input power supplied to the power supply device via the first line switch when the uninterruptible power supply device does not output the power. According to the present invention, even when the remote controller is out of order in the emergency, the power supply of the power supply device can be cut off using the interrupted power supply device to thus enhance stability and reliability of the equipment.

    摘要: A data transmission device for reducing power consumption includes a data source configured to provide data, a data transmission line having a plurality of data transmission sections, and data storage units respectively coupled to the data transmission sections. The respective data storage units determine whether the data storage units store the provided data, and store the provided data based on the determination result. The provided data is sequentially stored into the data storage units, from one end of the data storage units to the other end of the data storage units. The data driver includes a converter to receive and convert image data in digital form into data voltages in analog form, and to provide the data voltages to output buffers. The output buffers receive and buffer the data voltages based on bias voltages generated as part of a feedback path between a bias voltage control circuit and the output buffers. The data voltages are provided to a display part. Before the data voltages output from the output buffers are provided to the display part, the bias voltage control part receives data voltage from the output buffers to count a slew rate of the data voltage, and varies the voltage level of the bias voltage based on the counted result of the slew rate, thereby providing feedback to the output buffers. Accordingly, differences of the slew rate between the data voltages output from the output buffers may be decreased.

The output driving circuit of an output buffer of a source driver integrated circuit may include: an output driving unit including a pull-up transistor and a pull-down transistor coupled to a source line driving signal output terminal; and a sub output driving unit configured to perform an output driving operation together with the output driving unit during a normal operation period of an active horizontal synchronization signal and configured to be disabled during a period in which the horizontal synchronization signal is inactive in response to a control signal, in order to reduce static current leakage flowing through the output driving circuit. Current leakage is reduced in the inactive period of a horizontal synchronization signal in an output driving circuit, thereby reducing power consumption of a liquid crystal display device.
