    摘要: A customizable therapeutic or occupational shoe sole and methods of producing the shoe sole are provided. The shoe sole includes an outsole, a midsole made from a shock absorptive material and an energy returner integrated with the midsole via an opening in the midsole. The energy returner includes a front lever arm secured to a front bottom recess of the midsole and includes a rear lever arm secured to a rear top recess of the midsole. The rear lever arm includes a lever arm joint for coupling the rear lever arm to the front lever arm. In some embodiments, shoe sole includes an adjustable base to enhance body mass control of the subject via a plantar flexor tendon, thereby customizing for unique biomechanics by relocating the adjustable base relative to the rear lever arm.

    摘要: The present invention is directed generally toward computer-implemented methods for targeting objects in a gaming system. One aspect of the invention is directed toward a method for targeting an object in a gaming system that includes receiving a soft lock command and applying a soft lock to an object in the game. The soft lock designates an action site on a portion of the object that was proximate to an aiming reference when the soft lock was commanded. The action site is proximate to a location where a selected game action will occur if the game action is commanded. Once the soft lock is applied, the aiming reference can be moved away from the action site. Another aspect of the invention is directed toward a method of targeting an object in a gaming system that includes receiving a command to hard lock a portion of an object, applying the hard lock, and displaying at least one selectable sub-target associated with the object. During the hard lock, the aiming reference remains at least proximate to the portion of the object. When selected, a sub-target includes an action site on part of the object proximate to a location where game action will occur if selected.

    摘要: A portable tube holder apparatus and tube loading method facilitates safe and rapid loading of tubes containing electronic components into a machine. The tube holder has a tube guide sized to receive a plurality of tubes and a support to selectively hold the tubes in that guide. The holder can be loaded with a relatively large number of tubes at a workstation area and then used to safely transport the tubes to the machine without risk of the components falling out of the tubes. The support, which is preferably slidable, permits all of the tubes in the guide to be readily released into the machine's feeding system, enabling fast loading of the machine and also minimizing down-time for machines that cannot run while being loaded. The portable tube holder preferably has an interface designed to facilitate alignment of the tube holder's guide with the feeding system guide in the machine.
