    摘要： A method and apparatus for reproducing image data are provided. According to an embodiment the method comprises receiving PNG (Portable Network Graphics) file from an enhanced storage medium or a content server, the PNG file comprising an image data preceded by an image header and followed by an image trailer, the image header including frame size information, bit depth information, color type information, compression method information, filter method information and interface method information; storing the PNG file in a temporary data storage; and reproducing the image data based on at least one of information included in the image header, along with an associated audio/video data recorded in the enhanced storage medium.

    摘要： According to method of managing and reproducing additional audio files of an interactive optical disc, additional audio data associated with main video data of an optical disc such as an interactive DVD are recorded as a file of a prescribed format. File information about the additional audio data and buffering information thereabout recorded in the file of a prescribed format. An optical disc apparatus interprets the file information and buffering information and then carries out a series of operations storing and reading out and playing the additional audio data in a way suitable to the buffering area allocated within a buffer. Consequently, additional audio data of various contents are read out from the optical disc or provided by a content providing server connected through the Internet.

    摘要： The present invention relates to an interactive medium and a method for managing additional contents synchronously outputted with audio/video (A/V) data in an interactive digital versatile disk (I-DVD). A player in which an interactive disk is seated accesses a server providing the additional contents of the A/V data recorded on the interactive disk before the interactive disk is reproduced, and receives updated information of the additional contents from the server. The player refers to the received updated information and determines whether an arbitrary file contained in an additional content list associated with the A/V data has been updated. The player makes a request for an original file contained in the list or an updated file designated in the updated information, and receives the requested original or updated file. Therefore, the player can always receive additional contents containing the updated file. According to this operation, the server enables the additional contents to be conveniently updated.
