On a silicon substrate (10) is formed a magnetic circuit (P1, P2, P3), whose thickness is equal to the width of the track to be read. This magnetic circuit is interrupted by a magnetic spacer (20) and two slots (F1, F2), in which are inserted elements sensitive to the magnetic field, e.g. magnetoresistors.     摘要: The installation according to the invention includes a cabinet for storing objects, apparatus for processing these objects, apparatus for transferring these objects between the storage cabinet and processing apparatus for the same, constituted by mobile containers and fixed containers fixed to the processing apparatus. The mobile containers can be coupled to the cabinet and to the fixed containers in order to carry out the transfer of the object to be processed. The installation also includes apparatus for ventilating the interior of the installation in order to permanently subject the objects to a very clean gas flow. This apparatus can be constituted by fans, by internal filters, or by an external pressurized ultraclean gas source.

    摘要: A carrier for magnetic data recorded therein by perpendicular recording comprises a non-magnetic substrate having at least one substantially plane surface provided with a magnetic data layer of an anisotropic magnetic material having its axis of easy magnetization perpendicular to the said plane surface, and includes an additional layer of an anisotropic magnetic material whose axis of hard magnetization is parallel to the said plane surface. An intermediate non-magnetic, insulative coupling layer may be provided to maximize magneto-static coupling between the layers while minimizing energy exchanges therebetween. A further non-magnetic sub-layer may be provided directly on the plane surface of the substrate to assure good adhesion of the additional layer to the substrate and isolation thereof from the magnetic layer.

    摘要: An electromagnetic transducer based on the magnetoresistive effect is made of a stack of members each of which comprises a magnetoresistive layer enclosed, with interposition of non-magnetic insulating layer, between two thicker high permeability layers, so that these layers are in leakage field magnetostatic coupling. The members are stacked with interposition of non-magnetic layers such that they are in relative edge effect magnetostatic coupling relation. Each magnetoresistive layer has its easy magnetization axis 45.degree. to the direction of passage of an electrical current therethrough and said axes are 90.degree. to each other in any two of the consecutive members of the stack.

    摘要: A magnetic slider assembly includes a spring arm; a magnetic slider including a plurality of welding studs, each of the welding studs including a base which is integral with the slider, the base having a controlled height and being made from a first layer of material which is not meltable at a welding temperature. Each of the welding studs further include a meltable stud member placed on the base, the meltable stud member including the second layer of material positioned on the first layer of material and having a melting point lower than that of the first layer of material and which is meltable at the welding temperature such that after welding, the meltable stud member forms a weld and a minimum parallel spacing between the slider and the spring arm which is substantially equal to the controlled height of the base. The second layer may be formed of either an electrolytically grown material or an etched material that is located on the first layer. A plurality of supplementary meltable stud members made from the second material are mounted on a lower surface portion of the spring arm so as to be directly opposite to and face the meltable stud members located on the respective bases.
