摘要： The invention relates, according to one embodiment, to a graft syringe assembly for delivering bone graft material is disclosed. The graft syringe assembly comprises a syringe subassembly including a syringe barrel having an inner chamber adapted for receiving bone graft material, a plunger adapted for expelling bone graft material from the inner chamber, the plunger slidably received within the inner chamber, and a syringe adapter coupled to the syringe barrel. The graft syringe assembly further comprises a connection subassembly coupled to the syringe adapter, and a delivery tube subassembly coupled to the connection subassembly, wherein the connection subassembly is configured to allow the delivery tube subassembly to rotate relative to the syringe subassembly.

摘要： An orthopaedic surgical instrument comprising an orthopaedic cutting block includes a metallic bearing insert configured to support a bone cutting tool and a body molded to the bearing insert. The bearing insert includes a plurality of chemically etched holes, and the body is molded to the bearing insert such that each of the plurality of chemically etched holes is at least partially filled by a portion of the body. The body of the orthopaedic cutting block may include a bone-facing surface adapted to contact a portion of a patient's bone, and the bearing insert may be positioned to allow a surgeon to perform a cut on the patient's bone using the bearing insert for support. A method of manufacturing an orthopaedic surgical instrument is also disclosed.

摘要： A Chemical Blowing Agent (CBA) concentrate was developed comprising a modifying agent and a chemical blowing agent. The CBA is characterized in that its decomposition products contain a primary amine. The modifying agent is a blend of a maleic anhydride copolymer and a butadiene based rubber. It was surprisingly found that resin degradation which often accompanies foam moldings using a CBA of the present type and is expressed in terms of a reduction in the molecular weight of the resin, is much reduced upon the incorporation of the modifying agent and chemical blowing agent of the invention. The concentrate may optionally further comprise a polymeric resin component.

摘要： The present invention is directed to flame retardant, pigmented polycarbonate molding compositions which properties include both good flame resistance properties and virtual freedom from streaking. The compositions are particularly suitable for use in molding machines using hot runner tools. The composition of the invention comprise a thermoplastic aromatic polycarbonate resin, a flame retarding agent, pigments, polytetrafluoroethylene--ASTM Type 3--and an amount of finely divided hydrophobic silicon dioxide sufficient for providing streaking-free molded articles.

摘要： The present invention provides a continuous powder extrusion method for making an article having a profile including an outer shape and optionally including one or more inner hollows. One or more bulk material powders and one or more binders are provided, and the bulk material powders and the binders are mixed to form a mixture. A die is provided, the die optionally including a mandrel having one or more shapes. The mixture is extruded through the die and the optional mandrel to produce a green form. The green form is debound to produce a brown form and the brown form is sintered to produce a densified form. The densified form is optionally processed using thermal, mechanical, and/or thermomechanical processing to produce a wrought form. The densified or wrought form is optionally cut to a length and/or finished using traditional metal finishing processes.
