摘要: A system including a flow diverter for delivering bone cement. A cannula coupler is coupled to the flow diverter and configured to be coupled to a delivery cannula. A drool accumulator is coupled to the flow diverter. A user input mechanism is coupled to the flow diverter and configured to actuate a valve and establish fluid communication between the cement reservoir and one of the cannula coupler and the drool accumulator. The fluid communication may be interrupted between the cement reservoir and the other one of the cannula coupler and the drool accumulator. A cement delivery input mechanism may be coupled to the cement reservoir and configured to be actuated to direct the bone cement from the cement reservoir towards the flow diverter. An actuator may be coupled to the drool accumulator and configured to direct the bone cement received in the drool volume towards the flow diverter.

摘要: Various bone cement guides are disclosed that may connect directly to a fenestrated bone screw or connect to a spinal construct that is coupled to a fenestrated bone screw. In various embodiments, cement guides may include a three-part assembly including a hollow outer sleeve and a hollow inner sleeve with a removable inner rod. In various embodiments, the hollow inner sleeve may be movable between a retracted position and an extended position and in the extended position a distal end of the inner sleeve may splay outward and capture the head portion of a fenestrated bone screw. In other embodiments, a distal end of the outer sleeve may surround and capture tabs of an extended tulip head connector while the inner sleeve couples to an inside surface of the extended tulip head connector.

摘要: An integrated targeted kyphoplasty system includes a piercing head, a tube body and a tube body handle. The tube body has an end connected to the piercing head and is provided with a balloon and a guider at an end of the balloon, and another end connected to the tube body handle and provided with a guide knob for controlling the guider to be bent and a pressure pump connector communicating the balloon. The piercing head is provided with a cement outlet, a cement channel is in center of the tube body, and the tube body handle is provided with a cement inlet. The cement outlet, cement channel and cement inlet communicate with each other. The device requires for only one piercing to complete entire KP surgical treatment without changing any tools, greatly decreasing radiation exposure rate of the patient during operation and the pain caused by multiple operations.

In one exemplary embodiment, the instrument includes a cannulated bone screw having a head that is configured to be received within a rod receiver and a shank extending distally from the head and configured to extend distally from the rod receiver, a cannulated shaft having a distal end configured to extend into the shank of the cannulated bone screw and a proximal end configured to couple to a bone cement delivery system, and a retaining sleeve disposed around at least a portion of the cannulated shaft. The head of the bone screw has proximal and distal recesses therein, and a distal end of the retaining sleeve is configured to couple to the proximal recess.

The applicator includes the removable stylus, configured to be received by the applicator at the second end of the bore. The removable stylus is configured to extend through both the bore and at least a portion of the delivery tube.

摘要: A paste application device stores two starting components, for mixing the starting components to form a paste and for the application of the paste. The comprises a two-component cartridge comprising two cylindrical internal spaces, two feed plungers that can be shifted axially in the internal spaces and limit the internal spaces on a first side of the two-component cartridge, and at least two dispensing openings by means of which the internal spaces are open on a second side of the two-component cartridge that is opposite from the first side, a hollow cylinder that is made of a plastic material and has one front face that is open and one front face that is partially closed, in which is situated an axially mobile plunger that has two pestles attached to it, whereby the pestles are oriented in the direction of the open front face, whereby the open front face of the hollow cylinder is arranged to axially touch against the first side of the two-component cartridge, and whereby the plunger closes in gas-tight manner against the internal walls of the hollow cylinder, whereby the two-component cartridge and the hollow cylinder are arranged in a pressure vessel, whereby the pressure vessel touches against the hollow cylinder or is situated at a distance from the hollow cylinder of at most 0.1 mm.
