    摘要： The present invention relates to a low cost, article for the delivery of personal care foams comprising a package comprising a container having flexible, deformable walls, an opening portion, a first sponge having a density of from about 1.5 to about 3.0 lbs./ft3; an indentation force deflection of from about 40 to about 65 lbs./50 in2; and a porosity of from about 50 pores per inch to about 100 pores per inch; and a second sponge having a density of from about 1.30 to about 2.00 lbs./ft3; an indentation force deflection of from about 40 to about 95 lbs./50 in2; and a porosity of from about 10 pores per inch to about 50 pores per inch; and a foaming composition; wherein the ratio of the combined bulk volume of the sponges to the liquid volume of the foaming composition is from about 2:1 to about 60:1, and wherein the ratio of air volume to liquid volume is about 4:1 to about 100:1.

    摘要： Disclosed are hair styling compositions which comprise from about 5% to about 90% by weight of a polyalkylene glycol styling agent that is substantially free of polyalkylene glyceryl ethers, and that has a number average molecular weight of from about 190 to about 1500 and from about 5 to about 35 repeating alkylene oxide radicals wherein each of the repeating alkylene oxide radicals has from 2 to 6 carbon atoms; from about 1% to about 90% by weight of a liquid carrier which can comprise water, an organic solvent, or combinations thereof; and, optionally, from about 5% to about 40% by weight of a propellant. Also disclosed are hair styling compositions which comprise from about 5% to about 90% by weight of a polyalkylene glycol styling agent that has a number average molecular weight of from about 190 to about 1500 and from about 5 to about 35 repeating alkylene oxide radicals wherein each of the repeating alkylene oxide radicals has from 2 to 6 carbon atoms; from about 1% to about 90% by weight of a liquid carrier which can comprise water, an organic solvent, or combinations thereof; and from about 1.5% to about 60% by weight of certain silicones or silicone derivatives and, optionally, propellant.

    摘要： The present invention relates to personal care compositions. These compositions comprise an adhesive copolymer and a solvent for the copolymer selected from the group consisting of water, ethanol, n-propanol, isopropanol, acetone, propylene glycol, and mixtures thereof. The compositions, when dried, exhibit a cohesive strength of greater than about 0.5 kgf/mm.sup.2, a total energy absorption per unit volume of greater than about 0.55 kgfmm/mm.sup.3, and an impact strength of greater than about 7000 ergs. Preferred are hairspray embodiments of the present invention having improved removeability from hair as defined by a hair stiffness value of from 0 to about 3.5 (0 to 4 scale) and a hair flaking value of from 0 to about 3.5 (0 to 4 scale), which values are determined by the removeability methodology defined herein.
