摘要： A mail server collects messages from a number of user accounts and presents them to the user from a single location. The user can set the mail server to block unwanted messages and to forward others to various receiving devices, including mobile telephones and pagers. Forwarded messages are automatically reformatted for the receiving device, while a copy of the original message is retained. The retained copy can be viewed later if the user is interested in message content that was not available to the wireless device. The user can also use the wireless device to forward the original message to another receiving device. In the case of forwarding, the saved original message and not the reformatted message is sent to the forwarding address. Some embodiments include an email agent that automatically pushes messages from intranet clients to the mail server through a firewall, thereby enabling the mail server to consolidate messages from intranet and Internet sources.

A server communicatively coupled with the one or more charging stations and the database, may be configured to determine a proximity of the one or more charging stations to a location of the mobile device. This determination may be based on the station location information and the mobile device location information. Based on the determined proximity, provide the station location information of the respective one or more charging stations to the mobile device. The charging station further provides photo and/or video surveillance security to verify a user.

摘要： A conference organizer uses conference software to define a conference and to store conference information on the organizer's computer system. The stored conference information includes a list of attendees, and a personal proxy mailbox for each attendee. Each attendee has a wireless device, such as a personal digital assistant (PDA). The organizer's computer system includes a wireless communication station that can communicate in wireless fashion with the wireless devices of the attendees at the conference. During the conference, an attendee uses his/her wireless device to access the conference information, select another attendee or a group of attendee from the list of attendees, and send the selected attendee or attendees a message. The message can be conveyed to and stored in the personal proxy mailbox or mailboxes of the selected attendee or attendees. The use of personal proxy mailboxes allows attendees to send messages to one another and to receive messages from one another without divulging their primary email addresses.

摘要： A method and apparatus is disclosed for protecting a solder pad for a chip on tape packaged integrated circuit mounted on a surface of a printed circuit board that is exposed to a wave soldering operation. A pad cover may be used to protect the solder pad. The pad cover is mounted over the solder pad in a manner that protects the solder pad from being exposed to solder during the wave solder operation. After the wave solder is completed, the cover is removed and the leads of the chip on tape packaged integrated circuit are connected to associated solder pad traces on the printed circuit board. This type of arrangement is particularly useful in arrangements which require a heat sink to cool the chip on tape packaged integrated circuit.

摘要： A system for an automated dispensing and retrieval kiosk for recorded media includes a kiosk having a plurality of vertical racks arranged in a circular formation, each vertical rack configured for storing a plurality of recorded media. A customer interface allows a customer to select or return a recorded media. A robotic element delivers the selected recorded media from the vertical racks to a media output, at the customer interface. The element also delivers a returned recorded media from a media input at the customer interface to the vertical racks. A computer controls operation of the kiosk, and an internet interface connects the kiosk to the Internet. The kiosk may communicate with a central server and/or other kiosks of a group, to locate a requested recorded media within a kiosk of the group. Once located within the group, the requested media may be reserved for customer pick-up.

The software assigns each individual a personal proxy with storage space for information to be shared. Responsive to input from the individuals, the software organizes the individuals into groups, such as interest-based groups and lists of “buddies.” Messages and can then be directed between individuals or broadcast to groups buddy groups via their respective proxies. The use of proxies allows attendees to send messages to one another and to receive messages from one another without divulging their primary email addresses. The proxy storage also allows individuals to store and selectively share textual information, video information, digital pictures, and audio information.
