摘要： An organic electroluminescent device which includes an anode and a cathode, and an organic electroluminescent element disposed between the anode and cathode. The organic electroluminescent element has at least one hole transporting layer. The hole transport layer includes a polyaromatic amine of the formula: ##STR1## where n is equal to 3, 4, 5, or 6;R.sup.1 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl, aryl and substituted aryl;R.sup.2 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl, aryl and substituted aryl; andR is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, and alkyl.
