摘要： A hinge assembly includes a shaft, a first bracket, a second bracket, a spacer, and a restricting member. The spacer includes a main body and a resilient area protruding from the main body. The resilient area includes a top portion and a base portion connecting the top portion with the main body. The restricting member and the second bracket are arranged at opposite sides of the spacer. The restricting member forms a protrusion resisting the top portion of the resilient area. The spacer is fixed with the second bracket, and the second bracket includes a receiving portion corresponding to the resilient area. The base portion is located in the projection of the receiving portion projected at the spacer, situated parallel to the axis of the shaft.

摘要： A hinge assembly includes a pivot shaft, a first leaf, a fixing leaf, a restricting member, a deformable member, two limiting blocks, and a fastening member. The rotatable leaf is non-rotatably connected to the pivot shaft and the fixing leaf is rotatably connected to the pivot shaft. The restricting member and the deformable member are rotatably sleeved on the pivot shaft. The restricting member defines two positioning grooves. The deformable member includes a base plate and two protrusions extending substantially perpendicularly from the base plate. The limiting blocks are partially received in the positioning grooves and connected to the deformable member. When the rotatable leaf is rotated, the limiting blocks slide out of the positioning grooves to press the base plate of the deformable member such that the deformable member becomes elastically deformed. The fastening member is fixed on an end of the pivot shaft.

The pivot shaft is rotatably engaged in the base. The pivot shaft gripper is sleeved on the pivot shaft. An end of the pivot shaft gripper is engaged with the base so that part of the pivot shaft gripper is fixed to the base. Two ends of the resilient member are connected to the base and another end of the pivot shaft gripper, respectively. The resilient member applies a force on the pivot shaft gripper so that the pivot shaft gripper tightly grips on the pivot shaft, and the pivot shaft gripper is relaxed by an external force for allowing the pivot shaft to rotate relative to the base. The present invention further provides a hinge positioning unit (26).

The torsion resilient member urges the first bracket to rotate relative to the second bracket and the damping member. The engagement of damping protrusion and the depression prevents the first bracket from rotating when the first bracket rotates through a predetermined angle. When the first bracket rotates through the predetermined angle relative to the second bracket and the damping member, the first bracket together with the damping member are rotatable relative to the second bracket to any desired angle.
