A pre-coding method for a MIMO system and an apparatus using the same are described. In the method, a receiver determines a corresponding codebook from a multi-codebook including multiple codebooks according to a location of a resource block, selects a corresponding codeword index from the determined codebook and transmits the index to a transmitter; the transmitter determines the corresponding codebook from the multi-codebook including multiple codebooks according to the location of the resource block where transmission data is to be transmitted, selects a corresponding codeword from the determined codebook according to the codeword index and performs pre-coding for the transmission data with the selected codeword. The pre-coding is performed with the multi-codebook in the present invention, which increases a diversity of pre-coding matrixes, so dynamic fluctuation range of a equivalent channel is improved and thus the performance of multi-user scheduling is enhanced effectively.

The present invention provides a cooperative multi-cell transmission method that can be utilized to implement cooperative transmission in a virtual cell. Sectors composing the virtual cell are real cells and/or full sectors in real cells, any sector among the sectors composing the virtual cell is physically located adjacent to at least one of the other sectors, and each sector of the virtual cell corresponds to a real transmitting node respectively. The method includes: acquiring channel state information between any user and at least one of real transmitting nodes by a main information processing node; performing user scheduling and real transmitting node scheduling based on the channel state information by the main information processing node; and cooperatively transmitting data of one or more scheduled users based on the channel state information by one or more scheduled real transmitting nodes. The method according to an embodiment of the present invention reduces the interference and enhances the system spectral efficiency.

The channel estimating apparatus for MUI signals has: a user type determining section configured to determine whether a UE apparatus corresponding to an own station belongs to a first type user or a second type user and to determine demodulation information to use in channel estimation of MUI signals based on the type of the UE apparatus corresponding to the own station; and a second channel estimating section configured to perform channel estimation of a multi-user interference signal based on the determined demodulation information to use in channel estimation of MUI signals. In the present invention, the UE apparatus is classified by type and the demodulation information to use in channel estimation of MUI signals is determined based on the type of the UE apparatus. With this structure, it is possible to improve channel estimation accuracy and further to improve the performance of data reception and user and cell throughputs.

One method of generating the correction table includes deriving a first SINR in consideration of the number of interference users less than (n−1) and a second SINR in consideration of the number of interference users equal to (n−1) to explore a distribution of the second SINR to the first SINR. The method includes: encoding MIMO related information of a user equipment (UE) by a base station, and transmitting downlink control signaling including a result of the encoding; receiving by the UE the downlink control signaling transmitted by the base station, obtaining the result of the encoding, and obtaining the MIMO related information of the UE by decoding the result of the encoding. By adopting the method, the base station is enabled to transmit MIMO related information required by the UE to the UE with small signaling overhead.
