摘要: The invention relates to a joining head arrangement for joining components, such as studs, onto a workpiece. The joining head arrangement comprises a housing and a slide that is mounted on the housing and is movable, by means of a linear drive, in a joining direction in relation to the housing. The joining head further comprises a component holder, arranged on the slide, and operable to hold a component during a joining operation. A feed device delivers components, at a transfer location, to the component holder. The component holder is rotatable about an axis, which is aligned transversely relative to the joining direction, from a transfer position to a joining position.

摘要: A fastener with a shank and, arranged at one end of the shank, a head intended for welding to a workpiece, has multiple detent pawls formed on the shank that extend radially outward from the shank toward the head and that are elastically resilient in the radially inward direction. On the outside, each detent pawl has an engagement recess with support surfaces. The shank has a longitudinal hole, in which is located a stud, wherein one end of the stud projects out of the longitudinal hole and forms the head for welding. Also formed on the shank is a flange that is elastically resilient in the axial direction, whose outermost edge region is located opposite the engagement recess of the detent pawls.

摘要: A joining device for joining a component to a workpiece. The device includes a component holder which moves the component along an axis in a first direction towards the workpiece in order to connect the component to the workpiece, and has a protective gas feed in order to carry out a welding process in a protective gas atmosphere. During the welding process the protective gas is discharged essentially in a second direction which is opposed to the first direction. An elastic sealing sleeve including folding bellows is arranged in relation to the component holder in such a way that a welding space, which is bounded by the workpiece, the component holder, the component and the sealing sleeve and through which the protective gas flows, is sealed off from the external surroundings during the welding process so that the protective gas can escape only in the second direction.

摘要: A method for holding a plastic fastener on a holding device in a position for transfer to an assembly tool, the method comprising the steps of: locating the fastening element in proximity to the holding device and oriented so that a thin wall on the fastener is aligned with the axis of a projecting needle on the holding device; pressing the fastening element and the holding device together; piercing the thin wall with the projecting needle; forming an opening through the thin wall; and frictionally engaging the needle with the thin wall edge that defines the opening to thereby hold the fastener on the holding device in the transfer position.

摘要: An incremental transducer (1) as well as a process (D1) are provided for determining an actual position of a body (5) along a measuring path (W) and/or a change therein. A position code (7) of the incremental transducer (1) has a gap (10). To make it possible to use the incremental transducer (1) as flexibly as possible and to operate it despite dimensional tolerances of the body (5), provisions are made for converting an actual location frequency (Fi) of the position code (7) into a desired location frequency (Fs) that is independent from the length (L) of the gap (10) to generate a position signal (S) representative of the actual position or the change therein.

摘要: A vehicle heating and/or air-conditioning system has an automatic heating and air-conditioning function. In a manual control mode, corresponding to an air quantity settable by the user with a first setting device and a desired interior temperature settable by a second setting device, a manual control of the actual interior temperature and the air quantity takes place. In an automatic-function control mode, corresponding to the desired interior temperature settable by the user and a selected air-conditioning style, an automatic-function control of the actual interior temperature takes place by controlling fans and air distribution flaps corresponding to the selected air-conditioning style. A characteristic fan curve and/or a characteristic air distribution curve is assigned to each air-conditioning style. A display unit, in which at least the air quantity manually selected by the user in the manual mode, and the air-conditioning style selected in the automatic mode uses identical illuminated symbols as its display.

摘要: An absolute value transducer (1) for determining an absolute position (P) of a body (6), with a measured material element (5), as well as a process for determining the absolute position (P) of two bodies (3, 4, 6) in relation to one another. In order to be able to use the absolute value transducer (1) in as flexible a manner as possible and to detect mounting errors of the measured material element (5), provisions are made according to the present invention for a code (K) of the measured material element (5) to have a discontinuity (9) in its course and for the code (K) to be scanned outside the discontinuity for determining the absolute position (P) within the discontinuity (9), and for the scanned absolute values (W) to be combined with an offset value (A).
