    摘要: A check link assembly for a vehicle closure is configured to be operable in two phases: a detent check phase and an infinite check phase. The vehicle closure is pivotably connected to a vehicle body and has a closed position and an open position. The check link assembly includes a detent assembly having a detent configured to provide a detent check position between the closed position and the open position. The check link assembly also includes a hydraulic or pneumatic strut operatively connected to the detent assembly and configured to provide check positions at all positions between the detent check position and the open position. The detent assembly and the strut are configured to operate in series as the door is pivoted.

    摘要: A vehicle and method of operation having a first door, a second door, an inflatable door seal assembly and an inflator assembly. The first door has a first opening side and a first seal mount extending along the first opening side. The second door has a second opening side adjacent to the first opening side to define a gap and a second seal mount extending along the second opening side. The door seal assembly has a first seal assembly mounted to one of the first or second seal mounts, the first seal assembly inflatable to extend into the gap toward the other of the seal mounts when the first and second door are closed and deflatable to retract from the gap. The inflator assembly pumps a fluid into the seal assembly to inflate the seal assembly and pumps the fluid out to deflate the seal assembly.

The structure also defines an opening through which the storage compartment is accessible. The storage system further includes a plurality of flexible protuberances extending from the surface into the storage compartment. At least some of the protuberances deform as an object is inserted into the storage compartment through the opening. The deformed protuberances conform to the shape of the object, thereby supporting and restraining the object within the storage compartment.

    摘要: A vehicle body includes structure that defines a first surface, a second surface, a third surface, and an opening between the first and third surfaces. The first surface and the second surface at least partially define lateral boundaries of a vehicle cargo area. The third surface at least partially defines a compartment separate from the cargo area. A first fastening element is mounted with respect to a flexible member. A second fastening element is mounted with respect to the second wall and is releasably engageable with the first fastening element. The flexible member is selectively movable through the opening from a stowed configuration to a deployed configuration. In the stowed configuration, the flexible member is substantially entirely outside the cargo area. In the deployed configuration, the flexible member extends sufficiently across the cargo area such that the first fastening element is engaged with the second fastening element.
