摘要: A disposable food cutting utensil, oval or circular in construction with an integrated handle area, packaging support legs and slots, and a removable marketing element. The utensil has a tapered and scalloped or serrated cutting edge that follows along a portion of the perimeter of the device, and allows for the inclusion of a handle area. Packaging support legs may be provided that protrude an arbitrary length from one side of the utensil, at sufficient distance from the cutting edge. Radial slots between the support legs permit the nesting of multiple utensils. The removable merchandising element is held in place by thin sections of material that are sufficient to secure the element in place, but permits its removal by hand. The merchandising element is of an arbitrary shape and sufficient size as to not present a choking hazard to small children.

摘要: An orthosis can comprise a first body member that can conform to a portion of a patient's body and a second body member that can conform to another portion of a patient's body. A closure unit having a first connector member with a first plurality of support posts can be operatively connected to the first body member, while a second connector member with a second plurality of support posts can be operatively connected to the second body member. An elongated flexible pull member can operatively extend between the respective first and second support posts so that when tightened by a patient, a pull member slides across the support posts to provide a mechanical force advantage to draw the first body member and the second body member against the patient's torso. A closure unit can be of a modular configuration for subjective mounting on various components of an orthosis to provide a highly adaptable closure unit.

摘要: An automated, computer-controlled landfill condensate injection system includes a pump that pumps condensate into a flare chamber at a pressure that is sufficiently high and through a nozzle that is configured to vaporize the condensate without requiring the use of high pressure air injected with the condensate. Secondary injection lines can also be provided that terminate in nozzles which are vertically staggered from each other along the chamber, to inject additional condensate into the flare and thus dispose of it at a higher rate depending on vaporization conditions. Computer-controlled valves can be provided in the lines for selectively opening and closing the lines.

摘要: In a process for the recovery and re-use of raw materials from paper mill waste sludge, the sludge is subjected to a preliminary cleaning treatment at a relatively low consistency, thickened to a consistency of 10 to 30%, heated to at least 100.degree. C. and then passed through a disperser in the thickened heated state before being passed to a papermachine for re-use. Papermaking fibre from at least one other source is mixed with the sludge before and/or after treatment as just described, so that the final paper product typically contains up to 30% of raw materials recovered from sludge. The action of the disperser is to break up dirt and other debris, and as a result, the recovered raw materials can be re-used in the manufacture of high quality fine papers.

摘要: A rail for a curtain and the like suspension and drawing system comprises continuous drawn or extruded material of generally hollow or tubular shape whose cross section is such as to provide a pair of parallel longitudinal slots for guiding the oppositely running laps of a flat draw belt in an on-edge attitude so that its width is vertical, the rail being capable of flexure or bending in directions normal to the vertical plane of the belt to conform to a curved bay. The slots are separated by an integral web, and each has a longitudinal outwardly directed opening through which a member can project carrying at the inner end a belt clamp and at the other end a master glider running along a track parallel to the slots. The glider track, which may also serve to support free running gliders, may be formed by a surface which is an integral part of the rail adjacent the opening in the slot, for example, at least one longitudinal face edge of the opening.

摘要: According to an example implementation, a method may include playing, by a computing device, first audio generated by a first application, determining that the first audio generated by the first application should be interrupted based on a notification associated with a second application, pausing the first audio generated by the first application, playing interruptive audio generated by the second application during the pausing of the first audio, identifying a portion of the first audio that was previously played before the first audio was paused, and resuming the playing of the first audio so that the portion of the first audio that was previously played is replayed.
