    摘要: A storage container in a current temperature is cooled to a target temperature in two phases comprising a first phase of convective heat transfer from the storage container to dry ice, and a second phase of flowing sublimed dry ice to the storage container. Deviation of the current temperature from the target temperature is measured. The first phase is applied, when the deviation of the current temperature inside the storage container is higher than a threshold value for the deviation. The second phase is applied, when the deviation of current temperature inside the storage container is less than a threshold value.

    摘要: A flow control system for a flow of a cryogenic fluid over a component is provided. The system includes a first tubing containing a first fluid therein and positioned upstream of the component with respect to the flow of the cryogenic fluid. The system includes a second tubing containing a second fluid therein and positioned downstream of the component with respect to the flow of the cryogenic fluid. The system also includes a parameter sensing device fluidly connected to the first tubing and the second tubing for comparing a first parameter associated with the first tubing and a second parameter associated with the second tubing. The system further includes a flow control device coupled to the parameter sensing device to regulate the flow of the cryogenic fluid over the component based, at least in part, on the comparison.

    摘要: The invention relates to a device and a method for generating a positive pressure in a tank for liquefied gas on a refrigerated vehicle with an evaporator for the liquefied gas, in conjunction with which the evaporator is connected in a fluid-conducting fashion to the tank via a line for liquefied gas, and in conjunction with which a valve is arranged in the line, comprising the following method steps: opening the valve so that liquefied gas exits from the tank and into the line; closing the valve in such a way that a quantity of the liquefied gas remains in the line and is able to flow back into the tank; heating the quantity in the line. The invention also relates to a method for the supply of liquefied gas, and a device for generating a positive pressure in a tank for liquefied gas in a cooling system, in conjunction with which the method according to the invention for generating a pressure is utilized. The invention permits a particularly efficient and reliable cooling of products in a refrigerated vehicle.

    摘要: A compact, mobile communicating carrying case for the transport and storage of temperature-sensitive materials. The carrying case regulates to preset cryogenic temperatures without external input. Cryogenic temperature control is provided by use of a liquid nitrogen cooling system. A microprocessor-controlled double function solenoid, temperature sensors, and several mechanical one way release valves regulate the cooling system. Peripheral integrated modules collect, send, receive and display information such as location, core temperature, and the nature of the enclosed material. The carrying case provides a compact laser-etched working area, in addition to a set of basic surgical instruments, needed for procedures using biological materials.

    摘要: The invention relates to a cryogenic storage device and to a method for operating a cryogenic storage device, particularly for cryogenic storage of biological samples, comprising a sample carrying device that is set up to accommodate samples, a cryogenic container that is set up to accommodate the sample carrying device, a container cooling device with which the cryogenic container can be cooled, an intermediate storage container that is set up for intermediate storage of the sample carrying device, a transport device with which the sample carrying device can be moved between the cryogenic container and the intermediate storage container and a sensor device with which at least one operating parameter of the cryogenic storage device can be registered. The transport device is set up to be activated in dependence on an output signal from the sensor device upon registering a predetermined operating condition of the cryogenic storage device, so that the sample carrying device is moved from the cryogenic container to the intermediate storage container. Additionally or alternatively, an intermediate storage cooling device that is set up for cooling the intermediate storage container can be activated in dependence on an output signal of the sensor device.
