摘要： A modular free-standing shelter including a frame and a cover. The frame has an upper plate and a lower plate, and a number of cover shafts are each pivotally connected at one end to the upper plate. A number of stretcher shafts are each pivotally connected between a respective one of the cover shafts and the lower plate. A separation shaft is affixed to one of the plates for separating the upper and lower plates at a predetermined distance. The cover is a skin having a predetermined shape that is engaged by the cover shafts. Some embodiments include angular frames. Some embodiments include warfighter covers.

摘要： An improved display provides information regarding a projectile trajectory so that a user is informed whether or not there is a clear shot. The improved display provides trajectory path indicator shown over cross hairs. In some embodiments, an intermediate point in the projectile trajectory is an aiming point and is indicated in relation to the visualized target. A rangefinder device is calibrated to a weapon having a sight, such as a bow sight. The aiming point is displayed showing the intermediate point in the projectile trajectory that corresponds with a pin in the bow sight. The rangefinder device may be calibrated using a calibration sheet. The display may include a level. The trajectory path indicator shows the aiming point, which is the highest point in the projectile trajectory as perceived by the user.

The handheld mobile wireless device provides item specific information, instruction, and supervision. A plurality of handheld devices is configured to be used by different people, and communicate with a central database. A handheld device comprises a camera for scanning an image of an object, a display for displaying information, and a wireless network connection to the database for sending and receiving data. The system recognizes the object and identifies a person. The database includes information regarding people and their roles, permissions, and authorized or assigned tasks; objects and tools; object specific instructions; and the handheld devices. The instructions include documents, checklists, pictures, audio, and video. An observer, or the system, can monitor performance of the tasks, and provide corrective feedback.

An operator configures a number of concealment blinds or shelters using shafts and covers or shells. Some embodiments include user adjustable domes. A hubless, dynamic blind or shelter comprises two or more cover shafts and an adjustable strap which provides a freestanding, flexible frame. The frame is covered with a cover or skin. The cover adjusts to the dynamic changes in the frame. In one embodiment the cover is an elastic net that changes shape but maintains tight skin. In another embodiment the cover has expansion panels and lace. Embodiments include layout blinds and boat blinds which incorporate a quick release clip 1260, and which may be used to observe or hunt waterfowl. The system includes a low cost method of tightening the skin on a cover to reduce wind movement and noise.

An operator configures a number of concealment blinds or shelters using brackets, supports, segmented shafts, covers, curtains, and skirts, and more complex modules. The segmented shafts have both the ability to make an attachment to retain a particular configuration while being able to break down the shafts for transportation or storage. The brackets and supports are used to secure a configuration to a tree, the ground, or a hand held device. Advanced modules include user adjustable domes and cylindrical arches. The system can be configured for placement on a hillside or over rough terrain and obstacles. Multiple modules can be carried by separate members of a group and combined together to form a more complex structure to meet the needs of the group. The system provides a novel star window with independently opening sections. The window openings are configured in a number of configurations to meet the needs of the user. The configuration of the structure is changed by the user to quickly provide cover, increase cover, and to adapt to terrain or changing weather. The system includes a low cost method of tightening the skin on a cover to reduce wind movement and noise.
