The sleeved jacket is constructed for use in some emergency circumstances, including technical rescue operations. A vest may be worn over the sleeved jacket to produce a combined jacket suitable for use as turnout gear in structural firefighting.

    摘要： The invention is directed to an airbag system and, more particularly, to such a system employed as a rescue or life-saving system to enable a person to survive an avalanche, for example. In a particular embodiment, the invention relates to an airbag system utilized with a backpack to be worn by a skier, snowboarder, hiker, or snowmobiler, for example. Instead of relying upon compressed gas cartridges or cylinders to inflate the airbag(s), the invention inflates the airbag(s) with ambient air only. In a particular embodiment, air is supplied to the airbag by means of a battery-powered electrical motor.

The garment may include an impermeable inner layer and a wicking outer layer. One or more reservoirs may be disposed interior to the inner layer for collecting condensed and/or unevaporated sweat. One or more pumps may move the sweat to the exterior of the impermeable layer for distribution in the wicking layer and evaporation from the garment.

    摘要： As combined with a protective garment having a generally tubular portion, such as a protective coat having a sleeve, or such as a pair of protective pants having a pants leg, which may be regarded as being generally tubular, and a drag harness, which is assembled to the generally tubular portion and which facilitates dragging a wear from a hazardous situation. The drag harness includes a loop, which is assembled to and within the generally tubular portion, and a grip, which extends through an aperture in the generally tubular portion. The loop and the grip may be made from a single length of strapping or, alternatively, the loop and the grip may be made from separate lengths of strapping. The loop may have a fixed length or, alternatively, the drag harness may have a running noose, by which the loop is adapted to tighten when the grip is pulled.

    摘要： Applicators provide a means of concealment and camouflage for uncovered skin, in particular the face, hands, and other body parts that may not be clothed such as arms, legs, or torso. A new use of temporary tattoo devices and process to apply one of many predetermined camouflaged patterns to uncovered skin. In one embodiment, a continuous camouflage pattern is applied the entire face and ears. In another embodiment, a pattern is applied to portions of the face and neck. In yet another embodiment, a camouflage pattern is composed of camouflage elements, each applied by multiple applicators. Sets of applicators apply portions of a particular pattern. Books contain multiple sets of the same pattern, or sets of multiple patterns. Camouflage is used for hunting and military concealment. Other uses include reproducing makeup designs for stage and video actors, costume wearers, and sports fanatics. Further, the invention provides uniform appearance for groups of people such a protestors or fundraisers.
