    摘要: A system for facilitating supplier qualification and quality management functions includes an application executing on a host system and a web-based user interface provided by the application, the web-based user interface collaboratively enabling qualification of suppliers, parts, and technologies over a network. The system also includes a shared data repository and a workstation in communication with the host system, and a supplier in communication with the host system via the user interface and network. The collaborative qualification includes acquiring supplier capabilities, part data, and supplier technology data from a collaborative source via the user interface. The collaborative qualification also includes storing acquired data in the shared data repository, and performing quality management functions via the user interface and shared data repository. The quality management functions include: managing changes to a supplier product; managing process changes proposed by a supplier; and assessing quality metrics provided by a supplier.

    摘要: A computer-based method and system for facilitating production changes in an extended enterprise via a network environment. The system includes a manufacturing enterprise system including a host system operating a web server, a data storage device in communication with the host system, and at least one terminal for accessing the host system. The manufacturing enterprise system runs on a network that is coupled to the Internet and is accessible to an outside enterprise or trading partner identified with having proper access permissions. The server executes a set of programs for the process and product change notification application of the present invention. PCN notices and EOL requests are inputted into the manufacturing enterprise system via the process and product change notification application where required data are supplied, destination resources of affected parties are determined and decisions are calculated according to these inputs.

    摘要: An asymmetric approach is used for evaluating process control data, whereby one approach is used for determining entry into the emerging life cycle phase (i.e., presence of a new defect) and a different approach is used for detecting entry into the other life cycle phases such as cresting and recovering. An evidence curve is created from observed instance data for a particular defect, and the slope of this evidence curve is analyzed programmatically by applying one or more tests, in combination with sequential time-reversed estimation, to determine return-to-normal conditions with a desired level of confidence.

    摘要: Advanced statistical detection of emerging trends in a process is disclosed, based on a Repeated Weighted Geometric Cumulative Sum analysis, which may be combined with time window-based estimation of proportions and related thresholds. Threshold derivation and significance computation is based on parallel simulation runs with power-exponential tail approximations. A battery of tests using the statistical theory of sequential analysis and change-point theory in combination with targets is used to evaluate non-conforming conditions in a process. Trends in fall-out rates are detected based on non-time-to-failure data that corresponds to counts of failures in consecutive time periods, with possibility of delayed input.
