摘要： By allowing the option of placing an Logical Link Control (LLC)-entity within the Base Station Subsystem (BSS) an improved system performance in the form of mobile stations experiencing reduced information acquisition times can be achieved by using a cache memory in the BSS. A method in the BSS can include receiving one or more LLC Packet Data Units (PDUs) from a mobile station, and extracting Sub Network (SN)-PDU(s) contained in each LLC PDU and reassembling the SN-PDU(s) to recover a single N-PDU. The N-PDU is determined to include a request for information using an LLC entity in the base station subsystem. Content of a cache memory in the base station subsystem is determined to correspond to the request for information indicated by the N-PDU. A response to the request for information from the mobile station is made using the content of cache memory in the base station subsystem.

摘要： A device receives a request for a service for a user equipment associated with a source radio access network, and establishes a connection with the user equipment via a circuit switched fallback procedure. The device also receives, from the source radio access network, information associated with one or more source cells, and provides the service to the user equipment through a target radio access network. The device further uses the information to select one of the one or more source cells for the user equipment to return after the service terminates, terminates the service, and returns the user equipment to the selected source cell.

Furthermore, nodes for such a transmission as well as methods of controlling such nodes are described. The method comprises: —sending (S82) a message (15) from said first node to said second node, said message relating to a decision on whether to notify said receiver of a congestion condition in said data transmission, —sending (S83) an explicit congestion notification (16) from said second node to said receiver if it is decided to notify said receiver of said congestion condition.

Each of the CSG Identities is indicative of which radio base stations among said plurality of radio base stations the communication device is allowed to access. The method also includes selecting, based on the list of CSG Identities received in conjunction with the received page message, a subset of radio base stations among said plurality of radio base stations and forwarding the page message to each radio base station in the selected subset of radio base stations, whereby the communication device is paged only via radio base stations that the communication device is allowed to access.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method and a network node for selecting a gateway for a user equipment in a communications system. The communications system comprises the network node and one or more gateways, configured to provide packet data network connectivity to the user equipment. The network node detects (401) the presence of local gateways among said gateways and obtains (403) a first set of information indicating the type of the user equipment. 摘要： A method and apparatus for providing both Mobile Terminated, MT, and Mobile Originated, MO, circuit switched (CS) services such as Short Message Service, SMS, services in networks utilizing CS Fallback and CSoLTE-I architectures. An extended SGs interface referred to as SGs+ is implemented between a Mobility Management Entity, MME, in an SAE core network and a Mobile Switching Center Server, MSC-S. The SGs+ interface supports transmission of upper layer CS packet data units while utilizing either connectionless or connection-oriented Signaling Connection Control Part, SCCP, operation. The non access stratum, NAS, signaling support between the User Equipment, UE, and the MME is extended to provide support for both MT SMS and MO SMS service.
