    摘要： An apparatus and a method for controlling high-speed variable speed playback of digital broadcasting streams in a digital broadcasting receiver are disclosed that include a frame information table including a position information value of an I-frame stored in advance when digital broadcasting streams are recorded, and frames are scanned by means of the position information value in the frame information table when a variable speed playback mode is executed, so that the scanned frames can be stably provided to a decoder regardless of speed.

    摘要： A method for updating contents of a Digital Media Server (DMS) in a digital living network alliance system (DLNA) is dislcosed. An update process is performed through a periodic update event in a Digital Media Player (DMP) that receives all content information of the DMS. Upon determining that information loss has occurred in the update process, the DMP sends to the DMS a request for information about a list of items possessed by the DMS. The DMP receives the requested information about the list of items and compares the received information about the list of items with information about pre-stored items to obtain a comparison result. When a difference occurs as the comparison result, all information about contents of the DMS is obtained through a browse action. When the difference does not occur as the comparison result, the update process is continuously performed.

The apparatus includes a tone signal generator for generating a tone signal substantially identical to a tone signal generated by a second node and transferring the generated tone signal to a first node and a switch for blocking the tone signal generated by the tone signal generator when the second node is connected to the network, and transferring the tone signal generated by the tone signal generator to the first node when removal of the second node is detected.

    摘要： A method for updating contents of a Digital Media Server (DMS) in a digital living network alliance system (DLNA) is disclosed. The method includes the steps of analyzing motion picture experts group (MPEG)-2 transport stream for the digital broadcasting by a digital broadcasting receiver of a digital broadcasting subscriber as the digital broadcasting subscriber executes an electronic program guide (EPG) function, obtaining a PID of an elementary stream, which transmits an object carousel, by analyzing a program map table (PMT) of the motion picture experts group (MPEG)-2 transport stream if an application program is transmitted, downloading the application program using the PID information of the elementary stream and then storing the application program in a temporary storage device, displaying electronic program guide information through display of the digital broadcasting subscriber, and executing the application program when contents relating to the application program are selected in electronic program guide information.

A display unit displays detailed incoming/outgoing call information integrated for a particular phone number. A memory stores an incoming/outgoing call list according to an incoming/outgoing event. A controller controls an operation for adding the detailed incoming/outgoing call information to an associated phone number item of the incoming/outgoing call list when the incoming/outgoing call event occurs, and controls an operation for displaying the detailed incoming/outgoing call information integrated for the particular phone number selected from among phone numbers of the incoming/outgoing call list. The detailed incoming/outgoing call information mapped to the same phone number can be viewed at one time by integrating and providing the incoming/outgoing call information.

    摘要： Provided is a method of efficiently processing a Short-Term Key Message (STKM) in the mobile broadcast supporting the mobile terminal. A structure of a response message according to processing the STKM in the smart card is also provided. In particular, a variety of information necessary for reproducing in the player is included in the response message and delivered to the mobile terminal, thereby the mobile terminal can easily obtain the desired information through the response message. Therefore, when the STKM is processed in the mobile terminal, there is no need to process operations except for a resending check, and the information does not need to be stored separately.
