摘要： A multiple antenna system for using a relay station with multiple antennas is provided. The system includes a base station for determining encoded data processing procedure based on first and second channel state information, determining a relaying procedure of the relay station, and sending the relaying procedure to the relay station based on the first and second channel state information; wherein the encoded data is terminating to a mobile station; the relay station for receiving data and the relay procedure which the base station sent, converting and sending the data according to the relaying procedure, and sending the first channel state information to the base station as a measured state of channel which receives the data; and the mobile station for receiving the data which the relay station sent, and sending the second channel state information to the relay station as a measured state of channel which receives the data.

摘要： Handover apparatus and method using a Relay Node (RN) in a cellular system are provided. The handover method includes receiving, at an RN, broadcast control information of a serving Base Station (BS) and a neighbor BS; network-encoding and broadcasting, at the RN, the received broadcast control information; receiving and storing, at a Mobile Station (MS), the broadcast control information of the serving BS; receiving, at the MS, the network-encoded information from the RN when the MS enters a cell overlapping area; and acquiring, at the MS, the broadcast control information of the neighbor BS by decoding the received network-encoded information with the broadcast control information of the serving BS.

摘要： A system and method for performing handover in a wireless mobile communication system are provided. In a Mobile Station (MS)-initiated scanning method of an (MS) in a wireless mobile communication system having at least two frequency bands with different central frequencies, the MS receives from a serving Base Station (BS) a mobile neighbor advertisement message including information about available radio resources of the neighbor BSs, transmits a new scanning request message to the serving BS, if the MS determines to measure Carrier-to-Interference and Noise Ratios (CINRs) of pilot signals from the serving BS and the neighbor BS, receives from the serving BS a response message for the scanning request message, including information about a BS which has reserved radio resources for a predetermined one of the at least two frequency bands, and measures the CINRs of the pilot signals in the predetermined frequency band.

A Base Station (BS) supporting a plurality of communication service modes allocates communication resources for each of the plurality of communication service modes according to a ratio determined in accordance with a communication service mode preferred by a terminal. The BS transmits a combination of resources allocated for each of the plurality of communication service modes to the terminal. The communication service mode preferred by the terminal is determined using at least one of channel condition of the terminal, moving velocity, preferred communication mode, required performance, billing system, and user preference.

摘要： A method of sending feedback information used for dynamic channel allocation, and allocating resources based on the feedback information in an OFDMA mobile communication system is provided. For this purpose, an MS feeds back channel gain variations at channel status measuring points distributed across a total frequency band to a BS. The BS estimates the channel status of the MS using the channel gain variations, and allocates optimal resources to the MS according to the estimated channel status.
